Paid my HOA dues to old company for June and July sent in bankstatements which was received 10/3/2019 (certified mind you because it seems like I have to go to court) yet I got another letter saying I owe those two months mailed 10/4/2019. Contacted old HOA they no longer have any info on file yet they still have the balls to send me delinquent statements. The only way they will even contact you is via email. J&N Realty, Inc. has been managing the property at which I own my condo for years and I am very pleased with their prompt response to my inquiries and concerns. I recently had a leak in my unit and of course, I wanted it resolved as quickly as possible to avoid further damage. I sent them an email letting them know and they took care of it in a timely manner with a sense of urgency. They get to the point, and they get things done. Finally a management company that will take care of what needs to be done without following up on because most companies are all talk and no action. Always friendly and professional on the phone and they respond promptly. I know my property is in great hands. My old management company would take sometimes 48 hours to respond to me. This management company stands well about the rest. These fine people rearranged the torn-up landscape of your condominium in no time. Many owners did not trust our then board and management company and tried to sabotage everything they wanted to do. I can't say enough about J&N Realty! They have made such a difference in how we run our HOA. Bernadette is just awesome, answering all of our questions efficiently and with little waiting on our end. When I first joined the HOA in our condo complex several years ago, we had a HORRIBLE management company that did absolutely nothing and took our $ every month. A professional colleague of mine recommended J & N and we hired them immediately (at a much lower rate I must add). Just wanted to give a great, and well deserved review for the group over at J and n Realty for being so quick to get back to us when we have problems. We are not a very big place, just 18 units, but they treat us as if we were a big account! This management company has been giving us a lot for nothing - they drafted rules and regulations, penalties, parking rules, etc. for absolutely free (we only paid for the mailing charges, of course). This fine company took over the management of our self management condominium eight years ago (thank God). Our books were a disaster, we violated all laws and rules and the blind was leading the blind. We had no accounting system in please and owners set their own rules - chaos was ruling the project. Far better company that all the flakes I met during my tenure on the board of my 128 unit HOA in Reseda. I was happy if the other companies replied at all to my phone calls and emails; most of the time I had to call them many times and send many emails before I got an answer from them. A much better company than all we have employed in the past. Solid understanding of how to manage HOAs, no-nonsense, realistic approaches to problems, and very good technical skills. I’m very satisfied with the performance and services of the company. Fast, honest, knowledgeable work. Our previous company had some self-dealing with the president and stole thousands of dollars from our accounts. Julius reviewed our financial statements and we took them to court and won. With the help of Julius we foreclosed many past due units. We had more than $40,000 in past due fees when Julius began managing us. Within six months that amount was down to $15,000. Need I say more? JN realty is a well-run company. Our transition from the old management company to them was smooth and fast. They took care of everything, sent notices to owners, vendors and utilities. They send out collection notices every month and send financial reports to the board every month. They can file liens on delinquent owners and handle foreclosures, which we had a few in the past year. They have very good contactors at very good prices. Julius’ company has been doing a very good job managing our condominium. We are in Los Angeles but been mismanaged by another company for many years without our realizing it.
