I can full-heartedly recommend CFR Rinkens for their service. My car, an Acura NSX, was transported safely across the pond using their proprietary shipping method. Pictures were sent to me during the process, and communication was excellent along the way. A small issue that indeed occurred with the 'connecting' transportation across land here in Germany, was taken care of very elegantly and to my full satisfaction. We started arrangements in October to ship our car from Germany to California. Arranging for pick up turned out to be a series of mistakes. Ultimately, Rinkens did NOT give "door-to-door" service and we needed to deliver the car to a drop-off location out of town. We last saw our car on December 3rd. That is a negative one star! This has been one of the worst experience ever, a nightmare! The Staff NEVER and I do mean NEVER return phone call ! NEVER return e-mail. the Operator will tell you to leave a message and tell you it's not their problem! Transported a car and it was later than late, and trust me, they will NEVER inform you the delay. Once the car arrived after many weeks delay, the stuff in my car are GONE! Hey All, I had such a wonderful experience with this company that I wanted to share. I saw the previous "bad reviews" and I have to say I feel as though those people are speaking of a completely different company. Joey Giranda helped me every step of the way and was very professional and responsive to all our needs. I used Rinkens to ship my Corvette from Chicago USA to Melbourne Australia and what a shocking experience. My car was badly damaged and Rinkens just simply refuse to accept any responsibility. They just say they did not damage the car even though we did a detailed vehicle report when they picked up my car showing it had no damage at all. I couldnt disagree anymore with the previous reveiw. Rinkens staff was kind, courteous, and responsive. I have used other shipping companies in the past, I wont repeat the names as they do not deserve mention, and they shine heaps above the rest. I was quoted a very fair price and they delivered as promissed. Keeping me informed throughout the process and going above and beyond the call of duty. Be aware that your quote will not be your final bill and by far. On top of the original bill: - an extra charge for goods by volume: an extra 100 cubic feet in my case ($532 extra - otherwise negotiated down to $225 in view of original quote). - an extra charge to pick goods up from a storage unit on the 3rd as opposed to 1st floor ($400 extra) - charging for Port Handling Charges ($896) - after being told there would be no further charges - 3% commission on top of original quote for us...
