My company will not allow me to have admin rights on my PC. I spent my personal money for this report and it will not download without admin rights.. so basically I spent 97$ for a program that will not be allowed on my PC? Why do you need admin rights for a Word Doc??. Also whats up with the heavy handed adds trying to get me to buy more stuff? I've asked multiple times to be removed from their "mailing list," but I get garbage from them almost every day. Their product wasn't very impressive, so I've looked elsewhere .. but getting off of their list (that I never explicitly signed up for) appears to be impossible. I screwed up and used my work email, honestly never expecting to get constantly spammed by "Dave Lavinsky." Stay away, and definitely don't get a "free trial" or a "free look" or anything like that! When I first bought Growthink's planning template I thought there was a problem. I paid for it and then nothing. Turned out they sent me an email that went into my spam folder. I was frustrated so I emailed them. They got right back to me and suggested i check my spam folder. And there it was the whole time. I've just purchased the "ultimate strategic plan template," and found it to be wanting. Like others have stated, the materials are very basic. Ten minutes, or less, of research on Google, will provide you with better, more succinct and more valuable information - for free. This company presents well and appears shiny and bright. They'll tell you they are the best and they will ask you for almost $20,000 to prepare a plan, financial model and deck. As a first time entrepreneur I cannot describe how upsetting it has been to deal with this company. Although I felt their prices were at the very high end. The only reason I gave these guys 1-star is because I have no option to give them less. I do not like companies that pretend to be working in your interest who try to extract every nickel they can from you, particularly when their market is startup and early stage companies.
