1) Discount Auto And Truck Transporters is a broker. They shipped my car using an UNLICENSED CARRIER that has now STOLEN my car. 2) When I asked about arrival times, and the fact that my car was a MONTH behind the promised arrival date they HUNG UP ON ME, TWICE!!! STEVE WISOTSKY is rude, unethical, and a crook. 3) DONT USE THIS COMPANY. I bought a car on Ebay for the first time and had to learn about shipping for the first time. I did some research, called around and got quotes and estimates, and then came across Discount Auto and Truck Transporters on the internet. If you're like me the whole experiencer of shipping a car cross-country is something you don't do every day or know people who've have the experience. I was overwhelmed on my first foray onto the internet. The consolidators, the multiple quotes from people I never heard of, etc. Something told me that at least a starting point for some assurance was BBB and I began to look at their ratings. This was my first time using a shipper. Steve Craig was the best. Even though we were delayed with bad weather. He was always available to answer any questions I may have had. This was our first experience in shipping a vehicle which was not your average size......Ford F350 crewcab truck which actually took up 2 spaces. Steve was the only person out of about 15 who ask specific questions. Steve guided and provided me beyond expectations!!!! and always, ALWAYS either answered his phone or promptly called or emailed me back. This is an excellent company to ship from WA to NY They picked up my car next day after I signed the paperwork, and it was delievered in 7 days exactly, They even let me put my bag full of clothes in the trunk of the car.
