DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. SCAM SCAM SCAM..they take your order, charge your card and never get back to you. I kept calling them and no one answers. When you chat they keep saying we will check with warehouse, no one gets back to you. Then the standard answer is not in stock - discontinued. You will never see a refund. Also if it is discontinued, why would you they still show on their website as 25+ in stock available.Looks like a scam to me to charge the credit card, float the money... Read More »

Honestly, we didn't see these reviews until after we'd placed our order for new patio furniture. It arrived damaged and it looked as though it received the damage while in transit (the box was damaged where the furniture was). On May 29 2012, I called DA Stores/Modern Furniture and made it clear to the sales associate, Lidia, that I had ordered a beautiful lacquered desk to accompany me on a move to Toronto Canada and explained that the piece must be delivered by the week of June 20th, that it would be delivered to my garage (curbside delivery) and remain in packaging until my move to Canada. I ordered a Cappicino Bookcase with sliding glass doors off Shop.com. I received a small 3 shelf Red bookcase no doors, about 1/2 the size. I called and they blamed it on Shop.com for having the wrong image, and told me they were out of the correct bookcase. Online shoppers beware! This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They do not follow up, or follow through on orders. The only time they contacted me was to get my credit card number (they claim did not keep on file). DA Stores is a dishonorable pack of thieves. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. First of all, when you receive their invoice, the bottom half of the page is fine print - read this carefully. Terrible & Disorganized . Bought a sink online status states "25 in stock , Ships in 1-3 days. Delivery estimate: 1-3 weeks" Got an email from them 3 days later stating "this item is on back order until the end week of ( the next month)" and shipping will be another 2-3 weeks. I order a sectional from these people, knowing that it will take weeks for it to arrive. When it arrived it was damaged, there were holes through all the packaging which damaged the leather, two holes. I asked for my money back because I didn't want to wait another 6 weeks.
