I wish had followed my own advice before paying the "attorney" Steven Moonly. I paid 775$ dollars to these people for my husband's custody case. They did not contact me for 2 and a 1/2 months. I called and emailed repeatedly. Now I am trying to get a refund and NOW they want to do the paperwork. Mr. Moonly will not refund my money. Buyer Beware, Save Your Money !!!! This organization does not have a clue about what they are doing. They prey upon your highly vulnerable feeling and emotions in the most delicate of situations. Well, I was in a very difficult and heart breaking situation for about 4 years dealing with custody issues. I haven't been in contact with my children as much as I would have hope to have. The last time I saw my children was in October of 2009, I still think of the memory...it's clear as day. I've been fighting for my children for 4 years, and going from lawyer to lawyer, but found it extremely difficult to pay those high retainer fees. US Family Advocates was extremely difficult to deal with. I'd call to ask a question and they wouldn't respond. since their work was all wrong, and the format they used (PDF) to create the documents meant that I couldn't do any edits, in the end, I got frustrated and never actually got a single paper filed. I paid these people $1,250 and 100% of my money was wasted. I've tried a couple of times to start over again with them, but it doesn't seem they are too interested in helping. Read More »

This company is amazing! After nearly 2 years of filings, legal advice, high fee attorneys and paralegal confusion that did very little to bring my son home, I finally came across a company with integrity, and a sense of doing what's right and most expedient for the client. PLEASE DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY, these are the most unprofessional people ever. They will charge you 100 to be a member with a 35 dollar monthly fee. Not informing you that the initial cost is for unlimited consultation that you will not get. They will then attempt to charge you 450-800 for an affidavit that you can very well have an actual attorney to do for the same cost since you will be representing yourself anyways.
