I don't know how this law firm is still in existence. Our class action law suit has been going on for 6 years, we have settled and been advised we will be getting $1500 which we are still waiting to receive. We were told we would have the money in December, then June now it is September. We provided pictures of damage, repair bills that were paid out of pocket and bills that our homeowners insurance paid. The amount that they settled for only covers the deductible that we paid. Milstein Adelman Jackson & Wade originally contacted me in 2009 regarding a structure class action suit against the construction company Morrison Homes in Stockton. As a member of a class action lawsuit against Centex, that was settled approximately one year ago, I cannot get the attorney responsible for the case to returns call or emails. Her assistant, responsible to interact with class members when she is not available, doesn't return messages, either. The only recourse is to formally file a complaint thru the California State Bar to see if they can get a pulse from this firm. I see I'm not alone in my experience with these knuckleheads.I just received a letter to settle for less than $2,500. and now I see (by other posts)I'll probably never even see that. This, maybe, will cover one of the failed windows but not the cracks in the stucco or interior walls. What a joke. I can't help but wonder who's side Milstein Adleman is on, the homeowners or the builders. Maybe they really were hired by Dell Webb-Pulte to drag this out and accept an offer so ridiculous. This office is doing a class action suit against the builder in the bay area, it has been going on for years, they lie, never communicate, never return calls. EVER. My home has been locked in the class action home defect lawsuit since 2009. Lots of solicitation to sign documents and send information then the trail of information goes cold. I have been calling, emailing, and writing this attorney about my home defects for 7 solid months now and can not get anywhere with pertinent information on getting my settlement to fix the issues in my home. We got sucked into a lawsuit against the home builder for the defects in our home by this law firm because we had absolutely no experience in any suit and thought this would be a less painful way to get the construction defects fixed. We were wrong! Milstein Addelman has proved to be too INCOMPETENT to represent us and our neighbors in the class action. Our house was inspected several times by both parties. The other reviews are dead on. Same story as the others. They filed a class action suit against my home builder and received a settlement. They called me up and said they had a check ready for me, but I needed to sign a release first. I asked the attorney how much it was, and he said it varied by house. This firm was involved in litigation against the builder in our 545 home community. They solicited everyone in the Community to line their pockets. In January 2012, I had to pursue their organization to seek the status of the case, not only for my family, but for the remaining families in the community. We were approached about 6 years ago by this office who was doing a class action suit against a builder in Roseville. We have lived in our home since 2002, and are one of the few remaining original buyers in our development. At first we ignored the law firm's mailings, but a friend in real estate told us that these kinds of class actions are commonplace, and development companies are required to insure new developments for 10 years against builder defects. This office is doing a class action suit against out builder in Sacramento, it has been going on for a couple of years or more which is normal, they lie, they will never communicate, they never return calls. EVER. If I personally hired them they would of been fire long ago. Linda in the office is a flake, never responds and or calls.
