Before I start, note that all the positive reviews are old. Maybe things have changed at Brake Performance, but their current rotors are not as advertised. First, the ecoating they advertise is nothing but spray paint. They are not dipped in ecoating. The inner vanes are raw iron. The paint that was not on the surface swept by the pads blistered during break in stops and the inner vanes are already rusting after two months and we are not in winter salt season yet. RUST!!!!! Just 4 months, and the rotors are rusted. The poor zinc coating is all eaten by rust. And that was my second set purchased from them. No refunds, no replacements. Awful customer service. From what I see online, many are disappointed too. Best to avoid. Save money and don't buy this low quality stuff, and especially considering the stingy customer service and the lack of willingness to make it right. Read More »

Inconsiderable customer service. Activated a warranty replacement with them but before hand, i called them to stress that my car will be out of commission and would like to have this shipped out and received within a week. I send my old rotors via 2 day mail, it took them 4 days to actually ship them out and now to make things worst, I have to wait another WEEK for me to actually receive my replacement.. Ordered front brake rotors for my 2010 BMW 335i. Good price fast shipping. First pair failed (warped) within a month. Got a warranty replacement that failed again within couple of weeks. Convinced them to replace it one more time (they have a one time warranty replacement policy!!!), when I received the replacement I had my shop put it on the machine to check the rotors and they were both warped new out of the box. I am a very old fashioned type of guy. i am not old but I am pretty set in my ways. When its time to get new brakes I go to my mechanic or I go to a Firestone type place. Very happy with there braking products and service from start to finish. I do a lot of driving and if you own a Prius you probably know that they are not know for there great breaking ability, the batteries are very heavy. Do NOT buy anything from this vendor - they are disreputable! They sell substandard and unreliable (brake) components and refuse to honor their openly stated warranty when the components fail. My run-in with these clowns centered on the purchase of a set of standard rear brake pads for my car. I skim-cut the rotors before installation of the new pads. Purchased slotted front and rear rotors for my truck and discovered the rears were off center. They did replace them but before I tried the new ones discovered the fronts were warped. I went ahead and trashed everything and replaced with another brand. Quality control is not a priority which is too bad, they do have good prices. Guess you can't have both. Read More »

Wish I would have shopped around for a better company and wish I could afford to remove their parts off my car and replace them with something more reliable. I own a 2003 Honda Civic and i live close to the beach and i have had a lot of issues with my brake rotors rusting and causing problems with my brakes. I purchased from Brake Performance the dimpled and slotted rotors in black because of the lifetime warranty and because of the black protective coating. My Ford Expedition has always had a history of warping brake rotors. I tried other companies with their cross drilled rotors only to have the same results happen. I just wanted to thank Brake Performance. I ordered the slotted and drilled rotors with black coating for my 2001 Acura CL Type-s. Its very hard to find performance parts for this car due to the low production numbers. I installed the rotors yesterday and the fit was perfect. The quality of the craftsmanship is amazing. I purchased their top of the line dimpled and slotted rotors for a 2006 dodge ram, rotors warped with less than 15,000 miles. I took them to a local brake shop to have the front rotors cut, reinstalled front rotors, braking still caused a vibration. So I took rear rotors in and had them cut, reinstalled no more vibration. I purchased 2 sets of rotors for my car and all went well until the claim for the warranty came into play. Their customer service was like pulling teeth to get information from. Spoke to 3 different people and I would get the same response "let me check with (add name) and I'll get back to you" two days later I had to call back. I can't say anything bad about the company in terms of how they fill orders, but I bought a set of cross drilled rotors for my Subaru, and in less than three months, the Beck-Arnley ceramic pads warped them. During Christmas, while out of town, I had a private mechanic take them off and have them machined, and put EBC semi-metallic pads on, so they wouldn't warp again. MY experience with Brake Performance was unsatisfactory to say the least. I ordered front rotors for my 2001 Audi S8 which was supposed to come with free brake pads. Several days later I received a call that they did not have the brake pads and they offered to credit me ten dollars. I had to buy the brake pads elsewhere for $65. I ordered brake rotors and pads from this company. They waited almost a week before they even shipped my parts and never said a thing about delays etc. When the pads came they did not include the two retainer clips that are placed on each caliper to firmly hold the brakes in place vie the slotted ends on the pads. I ordered and installed a set of slotted and dimpled front rotors from Brake Performance for my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel pickup back in February 2010 and received them the same week.
