Scam, scam, scam! "Honest?" not so much... the first scam they perpetrate is to lure you with "no delivery charges"- then, when you place the order they tack on a HUGE (mine was $44) "service charge" instead. I ordered flowers for my 90 year old Grandmother out of state for Mother's Day (Sunday) and clicked the option for Sunday delivery. "Honest Florist".......What a joke, are you serious! This was the most dis-honest florist I have ever dealt with! The flowers were nothing at all like the picture that they showed me online and the customer service rep. I spoke to when I call to inquire about the flowers was so rude. I would never use this so called "Honest Florist" ever again and I would strongly caution anyone from using them! No wonder they have a one star rating.....Everyone can't be wrong! Read More »

Not so Honest Florist! I ordered a plant for $48 to be delivered in Connecticut for a friends funeral yesterday and today got an email stating that there is an additional delivery charge of $10 because the recipient lives in a rural area. What part of Connecticut is rural is my question and I know for a fact that my friend does not live in a rural area. If I could leave a ZERO rating, I would since they definitely do not deserve a star at all! I placed a Mother's Day order with this scam outfit and they take your credit card number and send out a confirmation for the order. Then, they completely disregard the order and don't deliver it nor advise that there is an issue. What's worse, there is no way to contact this company directly as they only use call centers that have no affiliation with HonestFlorist.com and state that they will forward... Read More »

I have reported this Bogus Florist to BBB. Such Fraudulent company has to be shut down immediately and I will do what I can to make it happen. Honesty is not in their vocabulary. Be aware of it....Orders do not match the beautiful pictures on their website. Their website is such to lure customer. Their order is never guaranteed to be delivered same day. They do ignore order cancellation and still carry on with the order to get their payement. This company had defrauded a lot of people already... Read More »

SCAM!!!!! There is nothing honest about this company. They need to be shut down. I placed an order for an arrangement that cost $55 and what was sent was maybe worth $5. Plus the florist that they contracted with sent the arrangement to the wrong house. They didn't even attempt to call the recipient phone number that was included in the order. Instead they left it at a house that isn't even occupied, as the owners live in California for the winter. Horrible experience!!!! I will never order... Read More »

Hello everyone, In stark contrast to some reviews here - i had a very pleasant experience with Honest Florist. I am constantly on travel and do not have much time to research flower services and took a chance on this company. About a week ago i ordered flowers to be send to my Mother in Maryland and they arrived on time. I have to agree 100% with the reviews below. My experience was the same. One thing I should add is that they have the cajones to have a "Full Value Guarantee" on their site. They show the value of the flowers (and vase) as $60, show it "discounted" to $46. They then add $13 for handling fees. This company are merely brokers making a quick buck and grinding the local florist for his or her profits. If you order from them, they simply find a local florist in your area and re-order tagging on additional fees. I have seen the operation, they do not have a flower in the place. Ordered flowers to go to the East Coast without knowing that that this is not like FTD Flowers and 1-800-flowers. They actually do not sell flowers. They are consolidators, negotiators. They exploit both the gullible customers and the poor florists. But what is pictured on their website is fake, it is not available, as they are trying to explain to different florists nationwide how to make certain types of bouquets and deliver them in hours (!) .... and they actually pay them very little mone... I have to say I think this florist company has the Wrong name, because honesty is not in their vocabulary. I think they are a bogus company. I also orderd flowers on May 8th 2009, and they said my mother in law would receive them mothers day, Needless to say she still hasn't received them, I on the other hand have been able to talk to someone on this matter, and they just keep giving me a run around. Very Disappointed with this company's service. I paid for 2 flower arrangements to be delivered to two seperate addresses for Mother's Day for my Mother and my Grandmother. They were supposed to be delivered the Friday before Mother's Day (May 8th). Neither were delivered.
