I personally regret having signed up with Disability Help Group, for several reasons, one they told me that they would be able to move my case and file within 3 months, which did not happen, and for a fee of 20% from what is past due, I can not understand the work or effort they have made on my behalf, other than simply waiting for the payment which sooner or later will come and they will take their part. I went to The Disability Group because I needed to get onto disability and had tried to go through the process on my own. It was a nightmare and I got nowhere with all the red tape. My case worker was extremely easy to work with, answered all of my questions, worked closely with my SSDI agent and called me weekly with updates. I talked to a local lawyer and he told me to keep appealing, so I did, but when is was time to really get started I turned to this local lawyer and no response. I have to say that your attorneys debunked everything I’ve ever believed about attorneys. Until my disability, I had used attorneys for divorce and my child’s teenaged misbehavior. One of the best things I ever did was contact Disability Group, Inc. Even though I am on the east coast and they are on the west coast, communication was never a problem. I dealt with two represenatives over the time and they were both top notch. I like the fact that the group sends a time line which was spot on. I would just like to take a moment to thank the services of Disability Group. They took care of EVERYTHING and that is a good thing, since I had no idea how all of this stuff worked. I applied in March of '09, got denied twice, however, I then had a ALJ hearing at the beginning of Dec. of '11 and was approved within 21 days from the hearing. I acquired the services of Disability Group after receiving an initial denial from Social Security. I was very displeased with many of their response times and the lack of compassion among their representatives. I requested a copy of the documentation they had obtained on my behalf multiple times.
