BEWARE/UPDATE 3/19:NAME CHANGE THIS MONTH! Are they trying to hide? From what I have found online, they are now called DISCOUNTMETALBROKERS, INC. AS OF 2/27/14. Probably phone numbers, etc. have also changed. A man on ripoffreport.com stated that numbers have been disconnected. Hope this info helps someone. Ordered Gold American Eagles on Dec 12, 2012 and just received the balance of my order on May 10, 2013. FIVE MONTHS of repeated calling, not having calls returned, promises of deliveries that never occurred, and no written email correspondences or explanations for failure to deliver. I saw this company advertised on a Business network. I called them and was convinced to do business with them. I Wired a large sum of money on Dec. 20, 2012. I was told that the Silver Eagles would be shipped in 6 to 8 weeks. I called around the 9th week and got the run around. Wife and I rolled over Roth IRA's into gold ($76K)with Discount Gold Brokers (DGB). We chose them because of their advertised low pricing. We should have done more research! save heartache and time and avoid this company. reviews run true. Paid in full and promised gold in 2-8 wks "but usually 2-4". almost 11 wks later no delivery. they admit they don't have the products ordered BUT still refuse to refund money. attorney generals office may be only recourse. do you have fractions of a star? I already invested with this company more than once and no problem at all with them. It was a really good experience to deal with them. It is true, I had to wait six weeks for my shipment as it was mentioned in my invoice. I had free metals with my purchases and the customer service was really nice with me. I would definitively recommend this company. I will continue investing my savings with them because I know I will get my metals and also a good price for them and free metals. Read More »

Purchased from them (Discount Gold Brokers, Inc.) in December 2011, promised 2-8 weeks (worst case 8-weeks), but closer to two. We are at seven weeks; They don't return phone calls. Spoke to them again today. They say they have no idea when my purchase will ship, but diffidently not when I expect and promised. They take way too long to ship orders, usually in excess of the 9 weeks they tell you. Sales people are on the sleazy side, and quite pushy trying to get a credit card from you on the first phone call. They had 14 complaints filed with the BBB in 2011, nine of which had to do with delivery problems. These people should learn how to run a business. Ordered a gold coin on Aug. 16th. Received it Oct. 31. Ten weeks after order. They say 2 to 8 weeks. Other company's sends your order within 10 days not 10 weeks. I E-mail them 5 times to find out the status of my order. No answer on any of the e-mail. Called them 3 times.
