All I've got to say is "nee too." They took my money for a new battery, installed it, but it still would not hold a charge. I sent it back and they kept it, along with my money, failing to respond to phone messages, trouble tickets or e-mails. I wonder if they fix iPods and then sell them for more than they'd get in repair charges. Who knows. Very disreputable place. Read More »

Mark J. posted a review

UPdate on July 31 2020. Still no satisfaction from Ipod Battery Depot. I contacted Ipod Battery Depot today for the first time since registering the complaint below in May. I contacted by email and phone. No reply yet. My status is they are either extremely poor in handling business or they are a scam. Will retract if things change.

I sent my Ipod 5 to this company about 10 weeks ago to have a battery replaced. Paid online and received a package to send it to them. In about a week I receive... Read More »

ben t. posted a review

These guys are obviously crooks ! Like the others, I didn't look at the reviews before I signed up. I got a very good price and signed up. They sent me the packaging to return it to them. I tested the device immediately before placing it in the packaging and EVERYTHING was working fine, except the battery.
Today I received an email that they had received my device but basically NOTHING is working. They going forward with replacing the battery but assured me it would not be working when I get it back. Read More »

J W. posted a review

A total scam. Supposedly easy-to-follow directions for iPod battery self-install don't even relate to the proper product. Several models with very different designs/construction all have the same set of inadequate instructions. Since the product can't be returned if the bubble wrap is opened, the customer is screwed. Read More »

Joanne G. posted a review

I sent an iPold nano 4th generation to this company and did receive a newly installed battery in my iPod - but it no longer works! After almost three hours spent replacing the battery in my iPhone3 (BEWARE of connector 3: It comes out easily but pay close attention on how to put it back in!), the phone no longer connects to ATT's network AND the battery will only hold a charge for 4 hours. Since it would not connect I had the bright idea of calling ATT to see if they could check it. After holding for an hour, ATT informed me that since it was an iPhone I must have a data plan.
