This company uses deceptive and improper business tactics. They don't honor their warranty. I called on the 30th day to cancel any followup to the introductory offer since I'm older and hadn't remembered if it was an autoship. I had an opportunity to try the Youthology eye serum and skin care and was not happy with the results. However, after speaking with one of the customer service representatives (a woman) I found that I was incorrectly applying the eye serum on under my eyes. I got caught in this scam from the TV Infomercial advertising $39.99. I ordered the product - then found that I would actually get 2 products instead of 1 and be charged double plus S&H for each. I left the state for 2 and 1/2 months and when I returned I have 2 more. I called to return and they said that when I signed up I agreed to continue receiving the product and you can't return because it has a shelf life. SCAM. The product doesn't do anything!!!! The other products it comes with were so cheaply packaged I didn't dare put them on my face. I authorized them to charge me just under $50. Tried to send it back but I had missed the 30 day guarantee period by 2 or 3 days, so I was out $50. THEN I get a charge on my next bill for $39.99!! This product did not work on my husband for the 30-day trial period. I called for the past several days unsuccessfully attempting to cancel the order and return the product. The company is on Pacific Time and NO ONE WAS THERE when I was attempting to call when I AM NOT AT MY NEW JOB. I viewed the TV ad for erasing "10 years" by trying their wrinkle serum. This company is a total FORCE SELL SCAM type fraud. They AD on TV for $39.99, their 1st web page also shown $39.99, if you click on "order", it prompted to an order page which ask you to fill out all the credit card info, after you click submit, it then shown total of $97.99. And there is NO WHERE on the website where can find a "VIEW MY CART" for cancellation. I certainly agree with everything I read and double that!! I, too, got on auto ship and have tried to cancel. I was put on hold for what seemed like forever and finally had to hang up. I wrote on the package "Return to Sender did not order" and dropped it in the mail. I never heard back nor received the credit. I then went on-line to contact us and wrote an email, again, no reply. BE AWARE!!! Be VERY aware! What seems to be a $39.99 infomercial deal ended up costing me nearly $180 before I got it stopped. Once you order their product they put you on an automatic delivery AND each delivery costs $89.97...NOT the $39.99 that is perceived. In addition, three times I waited over an hour on the phone to speak with someone and never did get to that point. A word of advise this company is a fraud company. Product does not work at all. I ordered their product because the info-commercial sound good and the way they presented the product was good. Well, after trying the product a week and consulting with a dermatologist we try the product and the only thing I got was nothing. The product did not work at all. I have canceled this product. When I first ordered, I wanted 2 of them. I was never told over the phone that it would be auto ship. So my next shipment was 2 boxes. I tried to cancel, but it is too difficult to get a hold of these people. Phone is always busy. So I cancelled that credit card. Now I getting letter saying they will send it to a collection agency. Youthology may in it's appearance seem like a great deal. But in my opinion before handing over any information to these people about your credit card.... do yourself a favor and grab a pre-paid Visa. That way if you encounter the situation I unfortunately found myself in your pocket will not feel the financial burdon. This company sells it's skin care products on TV infomercials. They are a total rip of!!! They claim that the cost of the product is 39.99, but they don't inform you AT ALL that this is an auto reship product every 30 days. Each time they charge your card whether you want the product or not. I have sent emails, with no reply, and have spent up to 15 minutes with the 800# they provide for returns and customer service.
