I was reading the reviews of this company because I needed to buy some earthquake kits. So I got in touch with the owner of the company to ask about the complaints. What an amazing person. He explained that right after the disasters in Japan the two owners decided to concentrate their efforts on helping the victims in Japan by sending almost their entire inventory to Japan. I have ordered several survival kits from Survivalkitsonline.com and am very happy with the kits and the service. I had several questions about which kits would be best for my parents who are elderly and my family. I called them and was probably on the phone with a really nice guy for at least 20 minutes. Order product said available on 5/24/2011. Checked credit card activity and found no activity from this company. Called to find out, yet no one available to take the call. Message left on the phone as well as online. No response whatsoever. Called again on 5/31/2011 still no one answer and no return phone call. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered an expensive survival kit from this company on MARCH 22nd 2011. The web site implied that it would arrive in a few days. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 6 WEEKS! After almost a month of waiting I finally got through to their representative and he told me he was sorry and would send my order right away. I also placed an order with survivalkitsonline.com more than SIX weeks ago now. They are not answering the phones even during business hours, and have not responded to any written communication. This is not good business! All customers want is some communication. How hard would it have been to send out a mass email informing us of the delay? Ordered Food Bars from SurvivalKitsOnline.com on Mar 23. Called 3 weeks later asking why my order hadn't shipped and was told my order would be shipping within the next 2 days. It is now April 25 and my order has yet to ship. I feel lied to. They should have communicated the delay to their customers. 2-3 months to deliver an order is very unreasonable.
