I attempted to order a Fabtech lift kit for my Tacoma online. There was some uncertainty as to whether or not the kit would fit my model truck, so I called the dealer to speak with a mechanic/service rep. After I sat on hold for 15-20 mins I spoke with a person who had no idea what I was talking about but who reassured me the kit would fit my model and year. I ordered a tie rod kit and was told it would do 1 truck...Both sides. The kit turned out to be 1 tie rod. I called back and was told to send it back and they would give me a full refund. It was not a full refund. When I questioned this I was told they do not refund certain fees even though it was their fault. Horrible online/phone experience! I placed an order for a lift kit online. 11 days later the online status still said the order wasn't processed. Several calls later, leaving many unreturned messages, I finally demanded to speak with a supervisor about it and found they were just waiting to clarify some information but never attempted to contact us. I BROUGHT IN MY 95 WRANGLER TO GET LIFTED. IN TWO DAYS THEY MANAGED TO TURN A $1000 SUSPENSION LIFT IN TO A $2000 NIGHTMARE AFTER I HAD TO PAY TO TOW MY VEHICLE TO ANOTHER SHOP TO HAVE THE ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM REDONE AS 4 WHEEL PARTS BROKE ALL MY RUBBER AND METAL BRAKE LINES AND WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME TO FIX WHAT THEY BROKE!!!!!! We called and emailed the store and talk to sales rep Chuck regarding Front and Rear Ring and Pinion and installation kits for Jeep to ship overseas. The order together with shipping would be around $700. Good money, right?
