I have bought several pieces of jewelry through Advantage Bridal since they carry my favorite company's line and seem to have the best price that I've found. I received each piece within the 2-3 weeks stated on the site and I have been very happy with each one! There were a few times that Advantage Bridal's customer service contacted me to tell me that a necklace or a pair of earrings had been discontinued and that they couldn't get the piece for me. I recently purchased a ruffle clutch in black by Dessy from Advantage Bridal for a charity dinner I was going to attend. The clutch was absolutely perfect! It was just the right size for my small camera, a lipstick, and my credit cards! It even held my keys! The matte satin complemented my dress perfectly and it arrived in plenty of time for my big night! You can bet I will be back to buy another in a different color! My fiance and I ordered a lot of our wedding items from Advantage Bridal and had very pleasant experiences with them. Most recently, we called to ask several questions about shoes, and Michelle was extremely helpful. We've also dealt with Natalie for bridesmaid tank tops and my Soon To Be Mrs hoodie. Well, I had ordered the shoes for my new wife, before our wedding. I had a rush put on the item, and about 3 hours later I called them and Amy picked up I asked when they would be shipped out. Amy, while still on the phone checked in her computer and saw that they had just been shipped. I placed an order on Jan 9, 2011 for 85 photo albums at $.93@. I received an email from Amy Anaya on Jan 10 stating there was an error & I'll need to pay ($43) half to proceed with no further explanation. Not understanding why I would have to pay, I pressed for more information. After several emails, she stated it was their company & vendor error. Do NOT order from this vendor. Its website does not accurately reflect what is actually in stock and even if something is backordered, Advantage Bridal will charge your credit card and then refuse to refund the money, stating instead that you MUST order something else from the site. It would be in your best interest not to purchase from Advantage Bridal. I purchased a $370 pair of shoes and they came looking frayed and worn on the inside. The company said they'd return them but I had to purchase something that was the same price or more and they were going to charge me a restocking fee for something that was out of my control. This company for one has 33 complaints. How does it possibly have a B rating? Very questionable business practices. My experience was that my daughter ordered an item and needed to return it. The company was very difficult to reach by email or phone and in the end did not even give a refund OR exchange. Again, see the 33 complaints! Use your own judgement....and shop elsewhere.
