I have been looking to get a warranty on my 2007 Ford Explorer because I have heard that they can have transmission issues and are very expencive to replace. I called us direct after speaking with my dealership about getting a warranty. The dealership said I would have to pay for a 5 year contract up front. Roden with US DIRECT who recommended a 48mo/48,000mile Southwest RE Comprehensive Hi-Tech extended warranty for my Audi A8. I purchased this coverage and paid in full.  

On 2/23/10, having still not received my "contract booklet," I called US DIRECT and speak with Hector. I'm told it mailed out 2/16 but find it was mailed to the wrong PO Box. Hector says he will resend it that day.

I wish I had just saved my money and put it aside for a "just in case" scenario instead of purchasing the warranty.

Long story short, we needed to use the warranty for a transmission repair. When the claim was denied I contacted the number that was in my booklet that I received from US Direct.
