Is it okay to say praise Jesus! for a place like WOW! I love this gym for its boutique splendour and perfect size. I'm not overwhelmed here like the cavernous gyms in the area that never have parking. Whoever thought I would be taking belly dancing then Zumba and having fun. I'm a very good looking woman who prefers to workout in a safe environment with privacy. I am constantly bothered by the opposite sex when I worked out in gyms. I think my friend said it best, "If you're paying for it, you're gonna use it." YES, $15 a month seems like not a lot of money, but seriously guys--it's totally worth it. Coming from 24 Hour Fitness (the "Wal-Mart" of gyms, as I say), the difference is night and day. I'm actually kind of regretful that I didn't join sooner. Sleazy scam artists, DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY! We joined this gym before it opened and we assured that we could cancel any time within a week of opening and we would recieve our deposit money back. NO SUCH LUCK. The opening was delayed for many months and we moved out of the area before they opened. This company/gym is now open. Lots of people are complaining. The bench signs says that you get a free personal trainer. No, you don't. everything costs. another website claims all these great physical tests, but those don't happen either. Got a bag of money to throw away? Suggestion: Join one of the established gyms. You are absolutely right. It is weird that a company that is not open is getting so much traffic. I am with the other people. Open your site. You have phony pictures instead of your actual gym on your website. We get it that it is under construction and that the city is a butt. September 14, 2009 I think all these positive reviews have been created by people involved with the construction or the running of this business. The first review, where it says that the sales people run after patrons from other stores in the complex, is absolutely true. They do exactly that! September 6, 2009 This gym was supposed to have been finished by now. They have been telling people "three more weeks" for months. Perhaps they are a legitimate company, but it is getting rather questionable. There is nothing to stop them from collecting sign-up money and then closing down and taking off. Wow Work Out World La Mirada is making fitness accessible to me. What a wonderful facility and in an absolutely great location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; the facility is going to be absolutely beautiful. This is a tough economy but with Workout World I can afford to keep myself healthy. I signed up for this gym April 2009. They stated I could cancel a month after starting if I did’t like it there. The gym is a store front. After 45 minutes on tour and a couple of waters later I and my husband signed up to the new gym. I was impressed with the attention to detail that they spend on the equipment explanation and of course the best price this side of the OC.
