I was so happy to finaly get in touch with a company I couold trust. They returned my calls and educated me on the entire process from start to finish. I called in one day and spoke with Mr. Martin and informed him it was hard for me to trust someone to do my refinance. I've had the pleasure of working with Cameron through my first refi. I went from a 30yr loan at 5.25, to a 15yr at 2.75. The amount of interest I'm saving over the term is nearly the value of the home. My total monthly payment only increased roughly $150, and I'm also getting a hefty rebate from escrow. I just closed my refinance with United Pacific Mortgage. The process was fast and efficient. No surprises! I found them on the internet so I was a little skeptical. I was used to working with the local bank. They were always available to take my calls and responsive to all my questions. I did go through with the refinance eventually, and everything turned out OK, but I had several issues before I finally got there. Emails and phone calls were not returned, with various silly excuses. There were hidden fees, an exorbitant origination fee. They kept saying something would be happening the next day, then I wouldn't hear from them for 2 weeks. The original interest rate that I was quoted was not the one they worked up for me. I just completed my home refinance loan with United pacific Mortgage and they did a excellent job. I had a wonderful experience with this company. Very friendly people, always answered all of my questions. I worked with 2 people through out the process, Dan Peterson and Chris Reid. Horrible experience with this company.. Twice I was told I would be closing the next day, twice they said, sorry we can't get you the loan. Phone messages were rarely returned, even called the VP of the company and he won't return my calls. The only way I was able to talk to my mortgage person was to repeatedly call and hope I got lucky when he was answering the phones. So I had been looking for a refinance on my property for a few weeks and everyone I spoke to had a loan for me but I felt like i was being pushed and pulled from different companies who were telling me the other was lying and so on. I just completed a loan with United Pacific Mortgage after being referred to them by my friend and it was a nice experience. I worked with a couple of the guys at this company and they got the loan done in a few weeks for me. I liked how someone was always available to speak to me and I was informed through out the whole process. I ended up with a great loan and am now saving over $300 a month. I can not recommend United Pacific as they make false promises and fail to return phone calls after you close on your loan. We were promised a refund of our appraisal and a streamline mortgage process if rates dropped by .5%. Rates dropped and we were told rates had to drop by 1%, at that time we asked about our appraisal refund and they said accounting would contact us. I just recently finished my refinance with United Pacific Mortgage at the end of July 2011 and I must say these people were fast and very helpful. Ryan was the consultant who help me out through the whole process and was very easy to get ahold of when I had a question, unlike bofa who had me speaking with someone different every time I called in. United Pacific Mortgage lack communication skills with their customers. I have been working with this company since November 2010 and you need to beg them for a return phone call on your loan status. Today, I rec'd an email indicating they did a field appraisal on my house and determined it now does not rate the appropriate loan to value.
