In a nutshell, Bank of America only cares about the money it can make; they have terrible customer service. We paid off our mortgage a month ago; we had about $5,000 in the escrow account. We are still waiting for the check. The customer service rep claims it was mailed 10 days ago and that it takes the post office 7 to 14 business days to deliver mail. I know, ridiculous, but it is just on more example of how Bank of America treats its customers! Read More »

I HAVE CONTACTED THE BBB 9 WEEKS IN A ROW ABOUT MY PAY CHECKS BEING PUT ON HOLD AND BANK OF AMERICA HAS NOT CONTACTED ME AT ALL. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE LACKS KNOWLEDGE ON OFFERING CUSTOMERS ACCUATE INFORMATION AND IM SICK OF THIS BANK. MY NEXT STEP IS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO DO MY BANKING. THEY HOLD MY CHECKS LONGER THEN THEY ADVERTISE AND CANT EVEN OFFER ME A REASON AS TO WHY.THEN IM TOLD THAT IF A RECURRING PAYMENT COMES IN DURING THIS TIME THEY WILL NOT REMBURSE ME THE OVERDRAFT FEES EVEN... Lately, the BOA employees have shown a great disdain for detail in their services. I have had many problems with the bank as far as reliable service. I have had to call many times to try to resolve such issues as the Bill Pay; issuance of the correct ATM cards and presently with a false promise as to what interest rate I would be charged on a card I did not even ask them for but that I was talked into accepting.
