These people are terrible. Lousey customer service with long, long, long wait times for them to answer the phone, unavailability of supervisors to speak with (refusal of Customer Service to let you speak with them), untrained technicians with long, long, long wait times for them to come to the house (even with water running all over the floor it takes a week), revisits because of bad repairs with long, long, long wait times for them to come over and fix what they broke or didn't fix right....... Poor Service and overpriced for everything! Contracts are best on new items, the older the item the more it will cost for the contract. 04/14/2011 - Non-contract service calls will cost $70 and they do nothing!!!!!!! Found this out the hard way. Minor plumbing, they will come out, not have the right tools and charge you for a second service call. I do not recommend this company. My dad had a service contract with this company and its predecessor (Amira) for 32 years. The contract provides for free replacement of covered items when Service America can no longer repair them. They replaced a refrigerator and a dishwasher. Recently, the air conditioner (32 years old) broke and could not be fixed.
