after having this service for about 5 years and always paying my bill for the 12 months up front to get the one free month I was told by Steve "General Manager" he refuses to give me his last name, I was told that they don't offer this any longer..... but if you look at website its there, not happy with the customer service!!! as Steve "General Manager" mentioned to me that I didn't have any service problems with them for 5 years, well I was never broken into so my alarm was never used. 2. i paid in advance, as always, and was then notified of the sunset situation. i acted immediately ans was set up by geoarm. i was then told of the advance fee for the new monitoring company (of which i was not told). i was told the payment i had paid could not be applied to the "new company" so i was out that advance payment and am now forced to pay up again. this is not right and is poor company dealings towards their customers. i am willing to meet them halfway but do not feel i sure bare it... I've done DIY security system installs on my last 4 houses, using different suppliers and monitoring services in each instances. Alarm Club beats them all, hands down, on supplying what I needed at a competitive price. Same for monitoring service too; comprehensive and competitively priced. I have been very pleased with my GeoArm service for the past year. After Guardian Protection locked my panel because I added a motion sensor myself, I contacted GeoArm looking for a better alternative. Luckily, the person I spoke with from GeoArm warned me that my contract would be AUTOMATICALLY RENEWED for 3 more years with Guardian without my consent! I would certainly recomment GeoArm to anyone looking to good, quality, cheap alarm monitoring. I am currently renting a home that already had an alarm panel. GeoArm helped me PAINLESSLY set up the programming. Customer service is available Monday-Friday, and easy to get in contact with. I have had to leave messages before, and I have always gotten a callback. The monitoring is affordable, unlike most other companies, without lacking anything. After having a enjoyable reprogram of my 20 year old alarm system, I just reduced my bill nearly three quarters of what I previously was paying with Monitronics. Very professional sales staff and technical support staff. The website was also very clear prior to the sale, letting me know my term length options and payment options down to the penny. I had a fabulous experience getting my existing system operational with GeoArm.
