This is a great company with hard to find parts and lightning fast shipping. They actually overnighted a replacement laptop hard drive (that I could find nowhere else) when the first one they sent me seemed defective. It turned out that I needed to place a partition on the drive and it worked fine thereafter. They also sold this hard drive for 1/3 the price of the lowest quote I could find on it elsewhere. I ordered two replacement print heads and one was not working upon installation. I just let them know and they replaced it for free, without me even asking. Their service is superior. Impact sent me the wrong part. After contacting them, they were quick to take my money for a replacement part which was shipped quickly. After that is when the wheels fell off. his company is a joke! Just like many other people, I ordered a part that showed they had in stock only to find out days later that they don't have it. I just experienced one of the best support chats I've ever partaken in with any company. Dennis connected extremely quickly and setup an RMA return immediately with no questions asked. He then even placed an order for the replacement part, for a discounted price! I spoke with Ralph Tamayo today to order a display panel cable for an HP laptop. We didn't have the exact part number available to us, but with his insight to use the power of Google, in combo with some information I gave him, we were able to locate the exact piece I needed. I ordered a WiFi card for my Mac Pro. There are two such card but they are slightly different. I purchased the WiFi card from Impact Computers at a substantially discounted price. Need a replacement battery for my HP pavalion notebook. HP said to contact your company for battery replacement. The battery received will power up but is the wrong item. Original battery had a "pad" on one corner. This pad matched up with three others on the bottom of notebook to balance out unit. Contacted Dell for a power supply replacement. They were out of stock but recommended calling Impact Computers. They had the power supply I needed and sent it with overnight shipping. Everything worked like clockwork. Turns out the clients desktop was a different footprint so I went out and found the correct power supply and replaced it. After spending hours with HP technical support I was frustrated that they weren't able to find a part number for my computer. They gave me the run around and gave me the number to Impact Computers. I don’t know where all this negative experience is coming from I had a great experience and would use this company again. I ordered a hard drive for my 10 year old Sony Vaio, they sent me out the exact replacement, a New Hitachi HD and it was in the sealed Hitachi anti-static bag. They advertise at the lowest price, then after they've charged your card send you an e-mail saying the price has gone up. Yet for some reason, they are still listing the cheaper prices on their site and Google Shopping weeks later. You can cancel, but I'm still waiting for my money back. Obvious bait and switch scam. I then cancelled an order I had with another company because Imapact was local and seemed to have good reviews. Not honest. Purchased 4 NEW inkjet cartridges. Although my credit card was charged for all 4 cartridges, I only received 2. DO NOT SHOP HERE! We ordered a part, they sent the wrong one. After contacting them to let them know, they sent a return shipping label to us but only after many requests did they send one. I feel these people are dishonest. They told me they had the parts I wanted. I provided them with Dell part numbers. They sent me the wrong parts. They said they were compatible parts, but they were not. We lost an extra day of business as a result of the dishonesty in this company. Unfortunately, this company is in the business of fraud. A customer finds a specific product on their website, orders and pays for it, Then Impact Computers ships out a cheaper similar product. If the customer notices, then they have to pay to ship it back, AND a restocking fee. My complaint went all the way up to the owner of the company who refused to pay to ship back the incorrect product that they sent (and was worth about $30 less than the one I paid for.) Impact computers had horrible!!! absolutely horrible customer service. They shipped the wrong drive which was urgently needed by me.
