After receiving his materials and reading them, I decided this program was not for me. I drove to their office to return their photocopy materials. They convinced me to listen in on a webinar. I decided not to go forward with it. I mailed the materials by Priority Mail requesting a signiture because I did not trust him. It was returned to me as unclaimed, unable to forward.

Their system and customer services sucks and do not sign there contract when you owe them an additional $1500 in the second year when they did nothing to help in the first year. There service is terrible and all they are doing is taking your money and not securing anything in the way of student loans at all. Found their tech to be old and their service not so great. After only 2 clients which we did not help and gave them their money back we told 123college we were not pursuing any further business with them. 123college was not a viable option for our buisiness. In Oct we get charged an additional $1500 after initial charge of $6500 approx. We refused to pay the charge and asked for a refund based on the amount of business (or lack of any) and that we tol... Read More »

James M. posted a review

Company claims a marketing system that provides qualified leads. Their system lacks any flexibility and support, and therefore failed to deliver.

123College (the "Company) is more interested in getting advisors to invest than to see you succeed. They claim that signing up for their seminar marketing system (the System) will result in qualified prospects for their services and yours. However, only after you invest and get trained, do you become aware of the real issues you will experience.

Rather, high fees, lies, and refusal to respond to inquiries is more his style...

He must be stopped from giving false promises, hopes, and taking ridiculous fees for nothing..

My phone rang off the hook everyday until I made a decision. Unfortunately, I submitted my funds and because of life changes, did not move forward with the program. They refuse to provide a refund and have absorbed without any services being rendered.

The rep who we met with made it sound like there are thousands of scholarships out there which we can tap into. You expertly guided us through the financial aid process when she applied for college. Your superb advice ultimately helped Susan receive over 87% of her tuition and cost.
Last year she had decided on a private prestigious college here in Portland. This university gave her a tremendous package of grants, scholarships and Stafford loans and financial aid. This year, you and your staff have helped us file the FAF... Read More »

laurie m. posted a review

THE OWNER AND HIS GIRLFRIEND,Debra not including them THEY HAVE 3 EMPLOYEE'S .They keep changing the company 123 collage name scams the sites lie about the positive commands from families it's them writing it never do anything for there clients there so

They help you to identify what part of your assets count and what does not count on the FASA form. And then they tell you ways to move money into "safe" accounts that are off limits for college planning. But it's better to save your money and do it yourself. Just move as much money as you can into retirement accounts, long-term CDs or annuities. Once it is in those long-term type accounts, then i... Read More »

Jeff L. posted a review

We contracted with 123 College last year for my daughter's freshman year. The dates 123 College gave us for filing our forms were the wrong dates. Even though our forms did get in on time, we wound up doing all of the form filling out. That includes FAFSA and CSS business forms. We were unhappy with the financial package from the college. When we asked 123 College for help, they were unable to get any additional aid. They asked us to send a letter, they really do not get involved at all.

The gentleman who represented them was well spoken and very respectful. When we spoke on the phone he was always nice and considerate and he seemed very passionate about his work. I put my trust in this gentleman and am working with 123college now. The company has been wonderful to work with and have saved my family probably 100 hours of time not having to research college's and fill out all the paper work and a... Read More »

Wes S. posted a review

As a financial adviser who contracted with this company I can say I have been most unpleased with their service. I found their customer service to be terrible. Given the amount of financial aid at risk, this is not a company you should rely upon.

In addition to failing to file the appropriate forms in a timely manner, I also found them to be dishonest. They claimed to have filed the forms and never did.

I would also caution against providing personal financial information to 123college.com - they are not t... Read More »
