It is a shame I did not read these reviews before sending any money to this guy Ronnie Jay. from 1213 College. After receiving his materials and reading them, I decided this program was not for me. I drove to their office to return their photocopy materials. They convinced me to listen in on a webinar. I decided not to go forward with it. College 123 Is a ripoff to advisors. Their system and customer services sucks and do not sign there contract when you owe them an additional $1500 in the second year when they did nothing to help in the first year. There service is terrible and all they are doing is taking your money and not securing anything in the way of student loans at all. Complete BS!!!! Read More »

We signed up with 123college end of 2015. Found their tech to be old and their service not so great. After only 2 clients which we did not help and gave them their money back we told 123college we were not pursuing any further business with them. 123college was not a viable option for our buisiness. Company claims a marketing system that provides qualified leads. Their system lacks any flexibility and support, and therefore failed to deliver. 123College (the "Company) is more interested in getting advisors to invest than to see you succeed. Rather, high fees, lies, and refusal to respond to inquiries is more his style... He must be stopped from giving false promises, hopes, and taking ridiculous fees for nothing.. The Salesman is rude and harrasses for the funding. My phone rang off the hook everyday until I made a decision. Unfortunately, I submitted my funds and because of life changes, did not move forward with the program. They refuse to provide a refund and have absorbed without any services being rendered. We paid 123college $ 1,500 to find scholarships and get the FAFSA documents filed. The rep who we met with made it sound like there are thousands of scholarships out there which we can tap into. 123 College is helpful if you don't like to do things yourself and don't mind paying a hefty fee. They help you to identify what part of your assets count and what does not count on the FASA form. And then they tell you ways to move money into "safe" accounts that are off limits for college planning. But it's better to save your money and do it yourself. We contracted with 123 College last year for my daughter's freshman year. The dates 123 College gave us for filing our forms were the wrong dates. Even though our forms did get in on time, we wound up doing all of the form filling out. That includes FAFSA and CSS business forms. We were unhappy with the financial package from the college. I was contacted by 123college via mail and attended a seminar near my home in NC. The gentleman who represented them was well spoken and very respectful. When we spoke on the phone he was always nice and considerate and he seemed very passionate about his work. I put my trust in this gentleman and am working with 123college now. As a financial adviser who contracted with this company I can say I have been most unpleased with their service. They sent me many advertisements stating that they had a "proven program" that would put me in front of 30 -50 qualified prospects per month! I paid $7,999 to represent these guys and followed their system to the letter and spending an additional $5,000 of my own money doing mailings and seminars which they planned. I paid 123college.com $995 to process financial aid information for a period of four years. I found their customer service to be terrible. Given the amount of financial aid at risk, this is not a company you should rely upon. In addition to failing to file the appropriate forms in a timely manner, I also found them to be dishonest.
