This is coming from a 23 year client of Hair Club for Men. One who can verify many of the same complaints others have stated and possesses the experience and knowledge to honestly offer prospective clients reasons to choose another reputable hair restoration/replacement specialist. I was a client with them for 3 years, then the pandemic hit in 2020, I paid for 5 hair pieces for that year and was only provided with 3. They said the 2 hair systems they owed me with be given to me in 2021. January, Feburary, March, April, May 5 months went by before I got my first hair system of the year, and while I was waiting for the first hair system, they just continued to give me some old used systems of mine that were used and worn. I went to hair club with a copy of the offer, Try Extrands for free. I found out nothing is free and the ad was just a trick to get you in the office, They wanted me to pay up front before they would do anything, It was a total waste of time. Read More »

ALOT of my hair fell out from medication when I got sick. My hair is EVERYTHING to me and my self esteem was shot. I was walking with my head down and I felt ugly. I cancelled my appt 2 times before I finally walked through the door. I will admit, they called me alot to reschedule but I'm glad they did or I may not have ever went in there. 6/8/2013 The Hair club customer interaction is very poor. I felt deceived about the payment and the program. When I asked questions about how many times I needed a hair change, I was given incorrect information. Each time they applied the new hair to my head it began to shed and never lasted for a week. I BOUGHT THE HAIR IN FEB BUT I DIDN'T GET IT TIL APRIL, 2 MONTHS LATER. WHEN I WENT TO GET IT PUT ON IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE AND COLOR AND BODY. I had cancer and during the chemo I lost quite a lot of my hair. It was already thinning and after chemo it just didnt grow back. I decided to go to Hair Club for Men after seeing all these magic solutions and the guys showing off their new hair and their girl friends falling all over them because of their new hair. The Hair Club for men hires unprofessional staff. We went to the Dallas Texas office and like a past review I just read on here, they will bug you over and over and over on the phone. I started going to hairclub back in 2000 just before my baldness was starting to get noticable. At first i didnt think i looked so good, but then a couple years later i upgraded to a better system & i really think i looked good & the hair looked natural. I was an HCM client for 14 years (1990-2004). In the early days, the hairpieces were very detectable, you were encouraged to keep some frontal hair to camouflage the units if possible. They attached the units with the "braid", meaning they kind of braided the hair together with your own. This sounds okay, but it put stress on your hair (until it could fall out), was painful, and was detectable to the touch. i've been a client for 4 years and i'm happy. i don't understand the fuss about "money" or "they keep calling you". when i signed up, you could choose from several different packages - SOME were expensive but mine was not, no one forces you to choose the expense packages. as for calling, yes - the did the same thing to me. i asked them to please stop, and they did. i later made an appt online. people go online to complain, not praise, and it seems like those that do have a certain lack of acc... This company is very scary, and i never even went to the first appointment or seen a Dr. i just called one time for some free info....well in the call they talked me into a free in office scalp analyses. I love Bio-Matrix system. The only thing I'm giving it a 3 star is because its itchy when on the skin from prolonged trituration. Especially when I adduct my legs it gets really itchy, so itchy that I occasionally wonder why in heaven would I agree to that cute "doctor" guy (who's provided phone number is no longer in service btw) to perform a microscopic follicular unit transplants below pelvis. Went to hairclub to see about options for my hair loss. Basically i was told that once the follicles are gone there is nothing that can really be done... I was then pitched the Matrix - basically a mesh that they weave hair or synthetic into. Basically for about $5000 a year they will style my hair once a week and replace it a few times during the year. I WAS a customer of Hair Club for a while. Things were okay at first, almost anyone who saw me could tell the hair was SO FAKE. They started using literally what felt like 'horse hair', could not brush, wash properly, or manage. During a 4 month period I personally visited three Hair Restoration Clinic's in my area... Being a owner of a in home service company it was important to me that not only the hair restoration product be good, but that the customer service was personable and private. Hair Club was a horrible experience. They used unethical methods of pressure and love to tell you how unattractive you are unless you have their product. In my case, I went to support my brother and his financing was not approved.
