It is my pleasure to report that Manhattan Mortgage Corporation not only was successful in modifying my mortgage and reducing the interest rate by 3 percent but helping us become current after being behind 7 months on our mortgage. This company is not reliable. Do not use them for any type of loan modification. They will simply tell you everything to take your money. This company is nothing nut fraud be careful. This person name Russel is nothing but a liar. I explained clearly to this lady Elyssa that I wasn't going to be quality for a loan modification to to the fact that I already had one done. My experience with Manhattan Mortgage corporation was a good onee. After being promised the moon by another so-called Loan Modification company I got a call from Manhattan Mortgage responding to my cry for help on the internet. They explained something that I, unfortunately, already new and that was I might as well kiss my money goodbye that I had paid out to the other company 6 months ago. I AM SO DISAPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY PROMISED ME A SERVICE WHICH THEY DIDNT EVEN PUT ANY WORK IN THE END INTO. AND STOLE MY $1500.00. This company solicits business by sending an official looking "document" that starts it's relationship with potential customers with a fraudulent statement: "Records indicate that you are currently in default on your mortgage at ...(property address)" This direct mail campaign works because 9% of mortgage holders in the US currently are behind or worse on their mortgage payments. Manhattan Mortgage did exactly what they said they would I was kept updated on the progress of my loan thru the entire process and the end results were fantastic. They managed to reduce my mortgage payment by 812.00 a month. I want to thank them for there effort on my behalf and let them know they have saved my families home without them we would have lost our home.
