I "tried" the list my condo in Las Vegas with Realty Dot, only to have the posted price go up from $199 to $349 then the company they forwarded my listing to required I also pay 1/2% of sales price at closing. If all this bait and switch wasn't bad enough, I tried unsuccessfully for 10 days trying to get their forms filled out correctly. Twice they failed to change asking price and open house notice in a timely manner causing me to miss two important market dates. They said they were having difficulty with their MLS link. I became frustrated and asked for my money back and they said they wouldn’t refund anything after the property is listed on MLS even if it is their fault. I could not be more happy with this company. I was referred to them from a fsbo company to list my house in Kansas. From the onset they communicated with me in a professional and courteous manner. Their sign up process was very detailed (I provided the best info I could about my house and called and emailed a couple times for help). I listed my house in Charlottesville, VA with The Realty Dot. I signed up for the 6 month mls listing and my house sold after only 2 months. The Realty Dot answered all of my questions, posted my open houses (don't know how worth it the open houses were, but that's another story), made my requested price change and emailed me all leads. Maybe other representatives with Realty Dot are better. But if you are assigned to Jennifer with the email (jennifersellshouses@yahoo.com) ask the for sale by owner provider you are working with to assign you to someone else. Our house has been listed through her for 2 months. And these are the issues we had: 1.) I am a current customer of The Realty Dot. I enrolled to add my house in Louisville, KY to the multiple listing service last month. I am very happy with the service so far. The staff has been very patient with me, as I am not that computer savvy. A nice gal helped me complete the property information sheet online and let me mail in the property photos (I know, I know I'm hopeless with the computer!). I listed my house in Windsor, CT with www.MLSYourWay.com. They listed it on the MLS and Realtor.com for only $399. I sold my house in 2 months for my asking price to a buyer that was represented by a local real estate office. I saved over $15,000! The Realty Dot was professional, courteous and efficient.
