We jumped through all their hoops but finally requested our money back when it would have cost almost a thousand dollars. First they offered us to fly out of PHL but then changed it to Atlantic City. Tolls, parking, gas and then there was the baggage fee of $25. Per bag on Spirit. No carry ons except a purse. Total for two bags down and back $100. We had tried to book several dates using our Great Wolf Lodge Two night / Three day voucher earned by sitting in a time share sales pitch. Sent the deposit and then upon entering dates, the computer system tells us none of those dates are available. I have traveled with Spirit Incentives and had a stress free experience. Most people who get upset with the offer they got is because they don't read all the fine print. I did lots of research once getting my prize and learned very quickly that if my husband and I wanted to take advantage of our trip we would need to read every detail and have flexible travel dates. First I would like to say READ THE FINE PRINT. I got the "Free trip" to Aruba. I didn't have the best experience but I didn't have the worst either! Yes, it takes a long time to book once you are ready but they put it in writing to be completely ready when you call in. You DO NOT want to have to call in again, like I did. I had won 2 prizes, a trip to cape cod and a cruise. If you read the fine print you will realize that there are stipulations. I took both trips and had a great experience with both. The hotel in Cape cod was beautiful, I was also able to use their sister hotel accommodations, beach, pool etc. I priced the cruise with airfare for two and it was double the price if I booked it myself with airfare. I can understand why people might give this company a bad review due to the elicit instructions you must follow to get your rewards. However if you follow the instructions, you shall be rewarded! I enjoyed traveling with this company. However, be prepared for early flight times (about 6 am). We went to San Diego, CA for 2 nights and 3 days (more like 2 days). Even though it was a quick trip, the rate was great! It was a $100 deposit and then $280 for travel fees. So flight and hotel to San Diego was only $380 for 2 people; which is pretty cheap when you consider it. We were offered one of the incentive packages after turning down the timeshare offer. We followed the rules as indicated, paid the deposit and picked our dates. Of course none of the dates we picked were available and they couldn't seem to come up with any other options that worked. This company is a scam. I tried several times to utilize my gift certificate. I had to hold 40 minutes before talking to a rep. Once I did speak with a rep the dates I chose were not available and she would not work with me on other dates stating they must be within 14 day of the chosen dates, which is outrageous considering the certificate does not expire until Oct.2013. Like so many others, my boyfriend "won" a free 3 day cruise to the bahamas. We went to the timeshare spiel at which point he, who had gone in alone, expressed no intereset whatsoever in their outrageously priced packages. They make it as difficult as possible and do everything possible to not work with your schedule. We received a 3 day/2 night stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine from Spirit Incentives a few months ago - our first experience with the company, and we were thoroughly impressed! Ok, So we went to a presentation and bought a vacation club package and received a voucher for a "free cruise" There was very fine print on the back of the voucher so I red it carefully. My partner and I attended a timeshare presentation in Lee, MA. We live almost 2 hours away and were on a time constraint but were told it would only take 90 minutes or so. I went to seminar , paid $198 dollars for cruise voucher, also even got talked into buying some vacation packages. I have received no contact from them . i have emailed multiple times. I have even paid off what is due. I tryed to schedule the cruise today and have previously , but the dates did not go out far enough. I see a lot of people say you are only given certain dates to choose from but this is in the literature they provide. Booked my cruise to Mexico, no problem. Cruise is 3 days away..very excited. I just found out our stateroom has BUNKBEDS!! My husband and I are in our 60's we don't want to sleep in BUNKBEDS!! I just tried to book our mini-vacation with your company. With over two months until the expiration date I was told that I did not have enough available dates to schedule travel. We just returned from a spirit incentive 4 day New Orleans vacation. We drove 1000 miles and ended up at the Days Inn New Orleans, which is the hotel from hell. If you get one of their certificate, just throw it in the trash, it's not worth the aggravation. I requested 3 dates in Destin,Fl back in June or July (Sept, Oct, and Dec) none were available. I had an excellent experience with sprint incentives. I recieved a 3 night stay In Montego Bay Jamacia. I attended at the end of July. The whole process was easy and they We're very helpful and accommodating. Had a trip to Great Wolf Lodge planned on 5/4/12 through Spirit and 5 days prior to the scheduled date, my father in law passed away. I called Spirit and they worked with me to set up another date, even going so far as calling back the same day to make sure they had a future date that would work for me. I don't know why anyone would give this company a bad review unless they just didn't understand how to make it work for them. We scheduled a vacation with them and when it got close we were unable to go on the dates we planned. Scam for sure. Part of the Club Wyndham they give you the walk-and-talk and show you the "tour rooms" where no such room exist for the normal member. They also partner with Spirit Incentives who does nothing but give you so many hurdles to jump threw that no way you ever come out with anything close to what you want.
