Absolutely, AWFUL. I had a very short move that was literally less than 2 miles away and they could not even handle such a short move. Very "unprofessional" and nothing what I EVER expected. Hired this company for a cross-country move. - Alana said they would handle everything, including coordinating all the necessary details between my apartment company and the driver. I have had the pleasure of trusting Nationwide Van LInes with several moves, the first in December of 2016. After that , I used Nationwide for 3 more moves , the last one in June of 2019. I've moved dozens of times in my 25 year Military career and Nationwide Van Lines has been the worst. I had over $10k in missing and damaged items on my last move. I was asked to do a "quick settlement" for $5k, and it's now been over two months with no compensation. Their Customer Relations Manager Rick Vera has been extremely dishonest. This was the worse experience we ever had with a mover. The day after receiving our property, I called Mr. Rick Vera saying lot of items were broken. He told me to take pictures and write down on a claim form all that was broken or damaged. This was a HUGE move for us, we had 2500 cubic feet of belongings to move. From start to finish, Patrick, Todd, Daniel, Gail and to the men who did the heavy lifting and driving, Yunier and Crew, did an amazing job to make sure my anxiety level stayed at a minimum. I've moved with other companies in the past and have never had such a bad experience. In addition to their practice of suppressing negative reviews through signed settlement contracts, you should avoid Nationwide Van Lines because KNOWINGLY send out movers that are unprepared and behave unprofessionally and who cause damages to your property. I was able to schedule a move with only a weeks notice using Nationwide Van Lines. My consultant Chris was quick to get me a quote and kept me updated throughout the entire process. Lisandro's moving team were very professional and made the move without adding any stress to me. Lisandro also keep in touch with me to coordinate the pickup and delivery. My consultant Jonathan Barnea did a super job of getting my move coordinated. My moving schedule kept changing as we originally started to plan the move to FL in November. The Guys from the beginning did a great job. They took special care of all my items when loading. The dispatch was awesome in helping us understand the procedure and where our furniture was. the Best was when the truck arrived the Team was just fabulous. the were respectful and helpful. all 167 items were accounted for. i opened 90% of my boxes and nothing was broken so far. the Florida Team was The best!!! We moved from Souderton, PA to Vero Beach, FL with pick-up on August 26, 2013. The contact person, Rachael is excellent. She responded to every call and e-mail quickly and with accurate information. She took the time to answer all questions thoroughly. From the beginning, Nationwide was great to work with. The customer service was fabulous. During the actual move, Indrek and his guys worked incredibly hard for hours in the August southern heat. Communication was good and the movers were careful and considerate. Also, our things arrived very quickly in upstate NY from North Carolina. Nationwide and the 3-man packing/moving team led by Daniel made for a great move from Rockville, MD to Somerville, MA. In Maryland, they worked different routes until the truck got into my neighborhood - then worked past midnight to get the packing done. In Massachusetts, they arrived on time and ticked off every item/box to make sure everything was moved. Nothing was broken in the move. The team was courteous and polite. My recent move went very smoothly for me, especially since I was under a lot of pressure and ill. This company could not have been more accommodating. Nationwide did an excellent job for our move, which involved moving all of our belongings from a 4 BR house from Washington, DC to Hernando, FL. The movers were very professional and performed the job quickly, efficiently, and it does not appear that anything was damaged during the move. Our team of movers was excellent. They arrived in a timely manner and worked efficiently and quickly at both pickup and delivery locations. This summer, I used Nationwide Van Lines, Inc. to relocate from NJ to RI. I had lived in my house in NJ for over 10 years so it was a MAJOR move for us! At the pick-up point, Dennis and his crew showed up on time and did a great job of getting everything loaded quickly and professionally on the hottest day of the year. they did a good job picking up stuff and moving stuff. The drivers are nice and work hard. Nothing broke. Drivers do a good job wrapping stuff for free to make sure your stuff is safe. The dispatchers need to do a better job. They give you a 3 day window for pick up and delivery. They will call you a day before to schedule your pick up time, but they call at like 6pm and if you need to call them back, they are done at 6pm so you get a machine. Thank You, Stress free move Christine, Manny and our driver/ team leader Jordan. Jordan and team were on time or early, they performed the tasks at hand with safety and concern for our items and property. We were recently moved by Nationwide from a home we had lived in for 29 yrs to a much smaller one several states away. They arrived a day early but were willing to split the packing into two days to allow us time to finish organizing. We moved from New York to North Carolina in May 2012. The move was done by Nationwide Van Lines out of Florida. The driver and helper were both careful and courteous throughout the move.
