Many thanks to Debbie. I would not want to have her following me if I was trying to hide ;-) She persisted for a MONTH to speak *in person* to a dodgy HR staffer. Her email updates to me were sometimes posted from her phone and at night. I feel I did not pay enough for this sevice. Seriously, how often can you say that? I do not recommend this company at all. I placed an order for the professional service over two months ago and have not received anything back. When I call the company and leave a message no one answers or returns my call. If I do not hear back by the end of this week or receive a refund I will be contacting the BBB. Read More »

This is one of the few places that you don't get what you pay for... you get more! I used another service that charged more money. I thought because they charged more, their service had to be better. I was wrong. I called Checkmyreference.com because I knew I needed to have my references checked again and didn't want to spend a lot of money again. Company was hired to do a background check of ex employer. I provided information to the company. When company found out the Ex Company had outsourced the reference check refused to pay fee or contact me to see if I would pay the additional cost. When questioned company representative assumed reference would be non -negative even without finding out. I was having problems finding a job. My interviews seemed to go well, but I was not getting job offers. I started to wonder if my old boss might be saying things about me.
