Drove 8 hours to purchase a 50k mi car from Century Motors of South Florida, what a major disappointment, the car was a condition #4 out of 10, several areas of unacceptable paint work ( scratches, runs, dirt, and overspray), several areas of paint peeling in the trunk and hood inner lip areas, the couple areas that were original paint the paint was dead (very dull), and there was at least a gallon of dressing under the hood area and on the tires! I wouldn't wish the experience I've had with this dealership on my worst enemy. If I could give them 0 stars I would. First, the dealer "lost" my wire deposit of $8000 for over a week. Then it took them over 2 weeks to ship the car to me. It arrived more than 4 weeks after it was fully paid for. Then the title and paperwork took another week to arrive. I purchased a certified pre owned from Century Motors that was listed on eBay. I flew in to the FLL airport from TN. I was picked up on time and given food\drink apron arrival. The show room is absolutely beautiful and they have a huge selections of low mileage clean vehicles. Every single question, comment, and concern was addressed very kindly through the entire process. He refused to return my $1000 deposit after I learned that I could not get bank financing because the truck was too old (2003). I sued him in Small Claims Court and won. Still trying to collect the money but interest is accruing and the Judgement is recorded in Broward County Read More »

This is one of the complaints: We have also had a very bad experience with Century Motors, Frank and Gina Fuzzy and Austin Bullock. Unlike the unsuspecting victims that Century Motors preys upon, I am a paralegal and held a south Florida dealer license in the past, so let’s say I am pretty familiar with the law. It took 3 requests for the dealer to send me photos of the vehicle’s underside; the first indication of incompetence. I had a friend test drive the tacoma and I decided to purchase. Frank, the dealer, took my deposit of $500 over the phone 15 minutes after my friend left the dealership. My bank indicates the deposit went through at 11:29 am. On March 14, 2014, I flew to Fort Lauderdale and met with the manager, Austin. I was looking for a 97 or 98 Lincoln Mark with low miles that was in excellent condition. This dealer cleverly made this a sale with a telephone "handshake." That move took away all of my buyer protections you get from e-bay since the money did not move through the e-bay site. It also saved him e-bay fees. I went to the nearest gas station after the sale process to fill up prior to the 230 mile home. At the station, fuel was pouring out from underneath. Our recent experience started out Ok but Frank turned out to be just another used car salesman. He made promises he didn't keep. Never returned our phone calls after we accepted the car. Be very careful of what you see on-line. There are several car option lists for a car you may be looking at. It seems to be different, based on the website you access Century Motors from, (ie: www,facebook) and Frank and Gina will misdirect you into thinking you're getting things you may not. Read More »

I was searching for the perfect pre-owned vehicle when I saw it on ebay. Sure enough I contacted Frank from Century Motors and asked many questions including air conditioning, stereo, Tires, Body, etc. He said this car was older but in mint condition he had a mechanic check everything, worked on it and put new tires on it, had been garaged its whole life, air conditioning worked, had premium bose sound, new tires, perfect interior and should last at least ten years. I bought two cars from Frank at Century Motor Cars. The avalon was a great car and have enjoyed it every bit. The Land Cruiser, that was supposed to be "perfect", wound up being a complete disaster. The entire exterior of the car has been repainted and there is still visable bondo showing in different areas. Paint job is not good by the way..... I hit "pay-dirt" with these guys. Never have liked purchasing a car off a lot - doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out why - so purchasing over the Internet was my only realistic path. I drove for four hours to get to the dealership AFTER calling them BEFORE I LEFT giving them plenty of time to prepare the vehicle for showing it to me. I get there, look over the vehicle for some time, then I get to the engine. I open up the air cleaner and there is a huge mouse nest that filled the air filter/cleaner compartment with a two-inch hole through the air filter. I would certainly think twice, and possibly a third time before making a purchase from Century Motors of South Florida. We bought a vehicle from them. When we took delivery, the engine light was on. The salesman hooked up his computer and said we needed a new gas cap. He then reset the code. We drove the car home, bought a new gas cap and within a day or so, the engine light came back on.
