I purchased a computer from them on 12/9/2019. The car would not start around 11/27/2020, due to the weather and COVID, I could not get the car in to be diagnosed until the week of 12/14/2020. On 12/15/2020 I emailed Auto Computer Exchange with the results that had been found that the PCM I purchased was at fault for the car not starting. A warning to anyone dealing with Auto Computer Exchange. They are also using the alias names of Auto Module Source and Neat Computers (Northeast Auto & truck Computers). I purchased a PCM to replace original PCM with P0601 code (PCM internal memory fault) and received a PCM that gave me the same error. Auto Computer Exchange is the worst company I have ever purchased from. They lure customers with inexpensive ECM’s and PCM’s and then the customer ends up paying much more by having to replace the defective parts. After dealing with auto computer exchange, i would have been way ahead to just buy TCM. from the dealer!!! Don't misplace ur receipt, nothing makes these guys day like u losing ur receipt.... they won't even take ur paypall receipt. Go ahead and buy from dealer-ship,ur going to end up there anyway. autocomputerexchange.net is the Biggest rip-off company in the world. I filed a fraud report with the police to try and get my money back. Auto computer exchange never even sent me the item but they still kept my money. I ordered a pcm/ecm for my Dodge Ram 3500 van on August 14, 2012. We were hesitant to order a PCM for our 2001 Dodge Caravan through Auto Computer exchange due mixed reviews. However, after conducting extensive research and weighing out the pros and cons, we decided to order the PCM from Auto Computer Exchange through eBay. The PCM arrived in a timely fashion. I must say after reading all these reviews I was hesitant about ordering a computer for my dodge neon, however after rigorous research that only lead me to more expensive prices & no gaurentees, I chose to go with Auto Computer Exchange. Bad grammar, typos, ridulous claims of outstanding service... What a joke. To have a consumer review site be filled with 99% of legitimate claims and grievances from these thieves, then let them post their own bogus reviews to boost their star rating, which should be zero or less. Better yet the owners should be thrown in jail for swindling people day after day and getting away with it. Upon trying to return something that is clearly stated on their website as returnable, they refuse to do so because the order was made via phone. After pointing out that the policy online states clearly that a refund is available, they said a phone order was different. However, it's the same company. I was having trouble with my truck computer. So I went to my truck dealer, they told me the computer was bad and asked 1000$ for replacement. I had doubt about the cost. So I took the computer out and went down to buy one from ACE. I talked with The Owner, Robbie. They had a lots of engines on stands and he plugged my computer in. It was working good in front of me. OMG! Am I completely screwed? I sent a TCM and ECM to Auto Computer Supply Their sattelite office spoke with John on the phone before sending parts to them. Extremely nice and informative. It has become clear that I checked this company out too late. I purchased and prepaid for a repair on my ECU. I sent a mildly inoperable unit in excellent shape to them. I would like to warn everybody from dealing with AUTO COMPUTER EXCHANGE company located in Florida. I had to replace ECM on my Cherokee 93. We did order TCM for Town & country. We paid $250 ( incl. Shipping charges and core return). They sent us the faulty unit.When we told this issue back to them , they said they will send the unit immediately, and asked us to send us the old original unit. We ordered an ECM from them, paid for it with a credit card. We shipped our original ECM as they request as part of their warranty allowance program. We received the replacement ECM and this did not solve our issues with the truck, it made it worse by not allowing the truck to start.
