I am all for filing a class action suit. I really hate dealing with this company but like so many others I had no choice. I will help in closing his company down. I have only received one statement and each time I ask they tell me one was mailed on the first of each month. Each time I call I get a different person handling my account. This company is a scam. I made a payment using my debit card that shows on my bank statement as being paid to Summit and now they are saying that the payment was not made. And wants to repo my car. The BBB needs to step in and put a stop to this abuse. Read More »

Although I have read multiple negative ratings about this company I have yet to have a negative experience with them...The interest is high but, I knew what I was getting into and had no choice...my payments are always on time but, the one month I had an issue I was able to put a payment on back of the loan which did cost 15.00...but was much better than paying my 400.00 payment and a late fee of 20.00...they gave me no hassle and were eager to help me. the only issue I do have is that my pay... Anyone who have been who Summit has taking advantage of please help me file this suit against them. We must join together and fight this rogue company and shut it down. This company is whack completely. They said my opening balance was $10,305.94 and a year later tried to say my payoff was $10,205.96 so they tried to tell me I only paid off a $100? Really. Go screw yourselves. Ive already reported them to the BBB. I have yelled cursed, and tried to trade my car in they want you locked INTO there crap and make it so there is NO WAY out of it! I recently purchased a 2007 Toyota Camry LE at Maroone Toyota in February 2010 for $15,439.06. The original annual percentage was 18.58 percent and my payments would be $399.96 a month for 5 years. My down payment was $4500. I have been asking summit for a copy of my contract for a year..I signed a contract with the car dealer with the understanding that i would pay 10,000.00 to the dealership..2 years later the dealer shuts down..I paid 16000 on a loan that i financed for 4 yrs and put three thousand down..they threatened to have me arrested if i didnt turn over my car..i then paid them 1200.00 which thay said they didnt get.. This company needs to be looked into , they scam customers , you make payments they do not send invoices, and they keep saying that you never made a payment , The BBB, should contact the agency that monitors Finance companies and have Summit investigated the are scam artists , and will lie about never receiving your payments , they never want to take checks because you can always go back to that payment , They need to CLOSE them down, immediately before more people fall into their Scam Read More »

This has to be the worst compay I have dealt with.They will call you over and over even after you have made agreements, haras you and make unprofessional threats for repossesion even after agreement has been made. This compnay needs to be looked into, they do not mail customers statements and they never have an accurate accounting system, they always are saying that payments are missing, they are scamming the consumers, the BBB should file an investigation with the state and the local government to have them looked into .
