There are quite a few things Arise can do to improve their Business to Business relationship with their Virtual Service Corporations (VSCs). A VSC is an incorporated business that you will have to create because Arise doesn't directly hire individuals, they hire companies. Hence, you HAVE to create a Incorporated business or Limited Liability Corporation (L.L.C.) if you want to work with Ari... Read More »

anna m. posted a review

I have been with Arise for 2 years and can honestly say it has been a very positive experience.
One thing people seem unable to understand here is that you have your own business, if you want someone to pay for your training get a job working form someone else.
I invested in my business and work the hours that I want to work. I have qualified to service 3 companies and have now settled on the 2 that suit me best. I choose the hours that I want to work so that I earn $400 a week and that i... Read More »

Janet W. posted a review

Okay where can I begin...Yes, there is costs associated with this company. I created a coorperation, took the classes, paid the fees and even worked for a wonderful client of Turbo Tax.
However, the problems I had with Arise was paying for Tech support at $40 per month when they really didn't help and often were quite rude to the employees.
The next problem I had was that they had messed up on my credentials..I had a 100% show up ratio but yet it was showing 0%, thus not allowing me t... Read More »

Dom J. posted a review

I have used this company and I have spent money on becoming incorporated and other various requirements. I think it is totally unfair to have to pay someone to be trained. This company makes money off of the hopes of their representative's failing. This is how it works: You spend hours studying for an exam to become an agent, if you are lucky enough to pass, you have to pay the company to be trained for various jobs. If you fail, you are out of $200+ not including the cost of becoming an inco... Read More »

Shana T. posted a review

Walter C. posted a review

I have been with this company for close to five years and have nothing but positive feed back for Arise. Arise is what you make of it. As with any business there are risks that you take when pursuing. The clients that I work there are hours to post all the time. I;m not sure why someone posted that no hours are available because I service 2 of them and have never had that problem and Arise has pretty much been begging agents to work additional shifts if possible.

Personally I'm satisfied.... Read More »

Missy B. posted a review

I have been an ACP for almost three years now. That has become the normal practice and it's really getting old to watch. I hope they see the error of their ways soon, I really do enjoy working with Arise and have been one of the lucky ones. But it's hard to watch them compromise their business practices the way they have been the past few months. Read More »

Victor S. posted a review

I have been working with Arise for some time now and I would like to say that the pay is not worth it at all . After paying all the fees associated with starting a corporation, plus the $99 customer service training fee and background check fee, I applied to work for a client and was accepted based on my educational background and work experiences. This cost me another $225 for the client training. On the client job posting, we were gauranteed 0.245 per talk minute and a minimum per hour of $9.50. I was able to deduct all of my expenses at the end of the year and it is not as difficult as people make it. I have worked for Arise for nearly 2 years now, and of course there are costs involved. If you expect to have your own business, there has to be a cost. When was the last time you took a job and the employer said, 'By the way, in order for you to learn your new job, you will need to pay $XXX.'? The following is from my blog about Arise.

I initially heard about this company, Arise, on a national morning news show, and my first thought was that they were a legitimate work at home company. So with this presumed knowledge, I decided to go to work for Arise.
But let me tell you, I had a lot of money that I had to put out BEFORE I was able to even begin to make money with them.

First, I had to form a corporation, which in my state costs $100 and I had to file a DBA which is $50... Read More »
