They measured the fence double gates installation incorrectly and left a huge separation gap between the gates that can't even be corrected because the adjustment located at the hinges is maxed out (leaving another huge gap on each post). Owner came to see the gates and refuses to fix it, claiming this is "industry standard", which is total BS. We are writing to warn the general public that A Great Fence Company is one of the most dishonest, unprofessional and unethical businesses out there. Our experience with this company was a complete nightmare. They did not complete the job according to the contract and left our yard in a total mess. I had a fence installed to contain my dogs. When the original estimate was done, I asked about the size of the gates I was having installed because I wanted to make sure they would accommodate my lawn service mowers. I was assured 5 feet was sufficient. When the fence was being installed, I questioned the width of the gates again and received the same assurance. Called these guys to build a fence around my pool. When the owner, Derrick, came by for the estimate my husband told him it was a newly constructed home and the city required the black mesh around the pool because he didn't have a fence yet to act as a pool barrier. I purchased aluminum railing from A Great Fence for my deck and I must say that the process, AND the installation crew were GREAT and above all, the positive comments about the look of the new fencing has made this experience a delight. First of all let me start by saying Great Job everyone. I would never have expected a fence company to be so professional from start to finish. The office manager was a delight to speak with. ASKED OWNER, DARRICK BAILEY, TO LOOK AT FENCE AFTER INSTALLATION IN ORDER TO SUGGEST MODIFICATION. NO RESPONSE. PANEL SIZES ARE NOT UNIFORM, GIVING THE APPEARANCE OF 'BARGAIN BASEMENT' MATERIAL. JOB WAS NEVER COMPLETELY FINISHED, FENCE BOTTOM DOES NOT MEET THE GROUND IN PLACES. GATES DO NOT MEET POOL COMPLIANCE REGULATIONSN AND HAVE 'TACKED ON'SHARP-EDGED CROSS MEMBERS.
