Furnished Finder is no different than renting on Craiglist. It does not have the protection of a site like AirBnB. They will not investigate anything or do anything for you as a consumer. The one difference is that unlike Craigslist which is free, they charge their owners to post listings which is currently $99 a year. Other than that, you don't know what or who you're getting. This has been a very difficult experience. I spoke with two different sales reps and I 'chatted' prior to paying them to list my property (s). My primary concern was that I would be allowed to switch out properties, as needed, as we manage multiple homes in the area. I was assured many times that this would not be an issue. I paid $99 for a 1-year subscription, to post rooms in my house for rent to Travel nurses, med staff, professionals, etc. Well, I had posted the same room on other websites and got it filled. so I took down ad on Furnished Finders. Now I have another room for rent and they say I need to pay another $99, and neither will reactivate my account that I had previously for 2 months. I recently rented an apartment from "Furnished Finders" aka Sonia Sanguinetti. This woman pretends that she is an employee for Furnished Finders when in fact she is the only founder and only employee of this company. I've taken vacation rentals for over 20 years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Do not confuse this company for "Furnished Finder", a more established rental agency.
