I started calling 5 (FIVE) weeks ago and have persisted weekly for a service rep to return my phone call and set up a date for replacements. Obviously there is no response from their Jacksonville office. Calling the Fort Lauderdale office is fruitless, and they are of no help. I guarantee you if I called FHIA for a new roof, they’d be on it in a heartbeat!

Very frustrated with this company! Read More »

Darren H. posted a review

Unfortunately, I chose FHIA to install my hurricane windows in December 2020. It is now July 2021, and the job is still incomplete. Not to mention we have a hurricane brewing in the Atlantic.

When the windows initially came in March of 2021, which was a very long time to wait, my wife and I were excited. The installers started the installation, and everything was going fine until they told me 4 of my windows were not measured correctly and would need to be reordered. I was thinking to mysel... Read More »

Serlina J. posted a review

2nd review...1st Review detailed fraudulent & Unsafe Practices

After being forced to hire a contactor to prepare a bay window for installation which FHIA removed and boarded up, 1 month later I am still struggling to get this company to complete the 3 day installation that started 2 months ago.

The Project Manager, has become non-responsive at multiple points during the process. After my initial reviews on multiple sites, I received a call from Ralph, the Operations Mgr., had 1 conversation... Read More »

Maria A. posted a review

They promise one thing and deliver another. FHIA removed my bay window and boarded it up after creating an open structure and a safety hazard in an occupied dwelling. FHIA did not adhere to the terms of our contract. This matter is pending still awaiting resolution.

The project manager. Andrew and Jose' the operations manager initially stated that FHIA would work with the selected contractor to remove remaining Bay windows and coordinate the installation of the Bay windows since the window installation is inte... Read More »

Fernando M. posted a review

I would like to inform the community how this FHIA company works, that they are only window installers, the manufacturers are of flowery ground. They buy them and then sell them more expensive of course. I ordered to put all the windows and doors of my house of the most expensive because I wanted the temperature to drop inside the house 6 windows and 2 doors $ 28,000. Only the first day of installation, of course I will post photos. Ever since I cannot get a re-inspection. At one time I was told the city had everything they needed for re-inspection. The city stated they did not receive any revision nor funds for a re-inspection. Post construction with Florida home improvement, I have numerous complaints. I spoke directly with Beth from home improvement to fix the problem. I even scheduled multiple appointments for the month of February and March. The last appointment was for 3/21/2019 with the contractor Jose to come look at the unfinished work for evaluation and he never followed up. Jose whose phone number is (954) 649-5348. On the day of installation, the window installer was such a perfectionist and his assistant paid plenty of attention to detail. They
made sure to protect our condo from dust and debris while concentrating doing the best installion job. Part of the day, the weather did not cooperate, but they never compaint and continued to work diligently. The guy that came to our house gave us a great presentation and a great price on the product. On the surface, the job the guy did was good, but in actuality, it's pretty shoddy. Crown molding as fallen off
and we have a pull out drawer that isn't even level. This was two years ago and I'm still trying to get them out to fix it.
