Had 11 windows installed 5 years ago with free screen replacement when worn. I started calling 5 (FIVE) weeks ago and have persisted weekly for a service rep to return my phone call and set up a date for replacements. Obviously there is no response from their Jacksonville office. Calling the Fort Lauderdale office is fruitless, and they are of no help. Unfortunately, I chose FHIA to install my hurricane windows in December 2020. It is now July 2021, and the job is still incomplete. Not to mention we have a hurricane brewing in the Atlantic. When the windows initially came in March of 2021, which was a very long time to wait, my wife and I were excited. 2nd review...1st Review detailed fraudulent & Unsafe Practices After being forced to hire a contactor to prepare a bay window for installation which FHIA removed and boarded up, 1 month later I am still struggling to get this company to complete the 3 day installation that started 2 months ago. One month ago, on 2/17. FHIA removed my bay window and boarded it up after creating an open structure and a safety hazard in an occupied dwelling. FHIA did not adhere to the terms of our contract. This matter is pending still awaiting resolution. The project manager. I would like to inform the community how this FHIA company works, that they are only window installers, the manufacturers are of flowery ground. They buy them and then sell them more expensive of course. I ordered to put all the windows and doors of my house of the most expensive because I wanted the temperature to drop inside the house 6 windows and 2 doors $ 28,000. FHIA,LLC (Florida Home Improvement Associates) installed impact doors and windows at my home. 05/24/19 the City Building Department rejected the permit(failed inspection). Ever since I cannot get a re-inspection. At one time I was told the city had everything they needed for re-inspection. The city stated they did not receive any revision nor funds for a re-inspection. ATTENTION: Florida home improvement & Dividend Post construction with Florida home improvement, I have numerous complaints. I spoke directly with Beth from home improvement to fix the problem. I trusted this company because they seemed serious. My front window pane came off the truck cracked since the opening was already removed and destroyed the window was installed cracked. I was promised that it will be ordered and installed by the 4th of August. I had new windows and sliding doors installed a few years ago by FHA. Three weeks ago the glass on one of my sliding doors popped and started to crack. The entire door has hundreds of stress cracks and I was told to put duck tape on it until a new door could be ordered. I have worked with FHA twice, once on impact windows for my parents home in Pembroke Pines and once to improve the energy efficiency of my home in Parkland. I worked with Russell and Tat. They are good sales guys, but also delivered a quality product while getting us getting financing. I plan to work with them again in the future. Read More »

My husband and I were more than satisfied working with FHA, from the Sales Representative to the Measurement Technician. On the day of installation, the window installer was such a perfectionist and his assistant paid plenty of attention to detail. They made sure to protect our condo from dust and debris while concentrating doing the best installion job. I found Florida Home Improvement in SAMs Club. The guy that came to our house gave us a great presentation and a great price on the product. On the surface, the job the guy did was good, but in actuality, it's pretty shoddy. Crown molding as fallen off and we have a pull out drawer that isn't even level. The first dealing with FHA was when their Salesman did an estimate on our kitchen. I asked if the company had an instillation crew, or if they picked up "day laborers" from in front of Home Depot, Steve assured me that they had a Pro Crew in uniforms & a company truck. 1st SALES (Scott) quote for impact replacement windows was $21,900. 2nd from MARKETING (Alan) was 12,900 for exactly the same deal. WE GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR INSULATION. VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!! The guy was going on and on about the compnay and stayed far away from the price quote. When we asked about price, he kept gearing us off.
