My experience with this school was very good. They have a free education verification service. After I graduated, my employer called CA to confirm that I was a high school graduate and was offered the job. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend if you need a diploma for a job. Read More »

My experience with Continental Academy was very positive. I was able to graduate and now have proof that I am a high school graduate. Now I can put proof that I graduated from high school on my resume and job applications. Almost every job that I have applied to asked for at least proof of high school completion. If you accept the program for what it is. Prior to enrollment, they clearly explain to you that it’s not for college or the military and primarily for employment or personal satisfaction. I had no problem with CA and was able to use the diploma for a job. I appreciate that this program exists. I also enrolled in 2013. I did the online schooling back in 2013 so that I could eventually go to college, just recently I went to my local college and was informed that my so called diploma wasn't acceptable because Continental Academy lost it's accreditation back in 2009/2010. I had a good opportunity to start a job but I did not have proof that I completed high school which was required for the job. Fortunately, I was able to find Continental Academy’s online high school program and graduated quickly. My adult son was enrolled in a public school which is regionally accredited (simply means it’s a 4 year program with advanced level courses to prepare you for college). After many years, I came to the conclusion that my son did not have the academic skills or commitment to successfully complete a 4 year program and was unable to successfully pass the GED. I immediately noticed that their admissions department tells you like it is. There is no sugar coating. If they don't have the high school program you are looking for they will refer you to the right high school program for you. The CA online program was great because I had access to my online program 24 hours a day and could do my homework at my own pace. I definitely learned a lot. As an elderly adult, I did not need the diploma for college or for a job. I just wanted the diploma for personal satisfaction. I learned a lot from the Continental Academy online program and I was able to use the diploma for a job. Now I can earn more money so I'm very satisfied. I got my Continental Academy degree in 2009 but did not try to enroll into college until last year. The ADMISSIONs told me they don't accept this degree because it's fake and unaccredited. I almost cried in tears and was so embarrassed because I worked hard at getting it. I called and asked for a refund and all I got was a bunch of lip and the phone hung up in my ear. I enrolled in it in January 2011. Little did I know(my high school recommended this school)6 months or so prior, this school got it's nationally accreditation taken away. This school does not meet the minimum requirements it needed. Earlier this year, January, I tried enrolling in several colleges. In and out of my state of Alabama! I enrolled in Continental Academy largely due to the $100 discount they offer. I am a sucker for discounts! But, when I finished and graduated, I would have gladly given them a $500 bonus. I earned my High School Diploma from Continental Academy in 2008. In 2009 I applied and was accepted in to degree program at CIE. Today I'm a CIE/WC graduate with Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. At the time the 16 credit program was called EAGLE. I recommend this program. Don't assume that all colleges reject it. You have a good chance with most of for profit private colleges and Universities. Also Public colleges may accept. I attended this online school September 2010. When I was finished with the courses , i paid for my diploma TRIED to continue my education ahead .. THE SCHOOLS I APPLIED FOR DENIED ME .. CONTINENTAL IS NO LONGER ACCREDITED . I GOT MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE I THREATENED THEM THAT I WILL HAVE THE SCHOOL SHUT DOWN . I enrolled in this school when they were Nationally Accredited and while I was in school they lost their accreditation in January of 2010. I emailed the school counselor January of 2011 and asked if this was true, so I would not waste my time finishing it if I could not enroll in college after completion. This place is an absolute SCAM. I attended this "school" after completing high school up until the 11th grade. I moved to an area where I didn't feel comfortable attending public school and couldn't afford private school. I am not advocating for this company. I understand that there are a lot of problems with diploma mills. I do not know if this company is or is not on the list that the DOE maintains. I do wish to clarify one thing. Homeschooled students are able to receive federal aid. You do not have to have a public school diploma or a GED. Sorry "ChauT", I have to call you out on your blatant disregard for the truth, and the facts of Continental Academy. What makes a high school diploma, or a college degree, valuable is whether the institution it came from carries an accreditation that is recognized by the US Department of Education.
