GoldFellow was great! I used the prepaid label and sent my broken and unmatched gold for valuation. Mailed out on Monday and had an offer by Wednesday afternoon. Over $550!!! Pretty good for stuff I just had lying around. I wish I had more to send. The pricing seemed more than fair. GoldFellow, LLC is simply #1. A friend of mine referred me to your competitor, one of the largest online gold buyers. I had some questions that I wanted answered so I called. What a surprise, huh? No live customer service agent, just voicemail. I don't know about you but I am not comfortable with trusting my valuables to a company that cannot have live agents to assist me. I have sold my old gold to GoldFellow in two, separate transactions and could not be more pleased with the compensation and service delivered by the company. I've done business with GoldFellow on several occasions. They have always paid me more for my gold than I expected to receive. My mother and grandmother had a lot of old gold jewelry and coins to sell. They first decided to go to other gold buyers but after receiving very low offers, I convinced them to use GoldFellow too. I am really confused by some of the negative reviews on here, which really don't match my experience in the slightest. So I felt compelled to write a positive review about my experience... I am so pleased with my Goldfellow transaction and felt I had to share my experience. Needless to say, there are a lot of crooks in this line of business. What Gold Fellow pays is pennies on the dollar if you look at their chart. $14.11 per dwt of 14k gold is less than 50% value of the price of gold today, Jan 22, 2010 ($1,100 per oz). 98% of people would sell less than 1oz, so other prices they have in their chart is pretty irrelevant. About 5 months ago I made a transaction with Goldfellow but NOT via mail I went to the location in Weston in South Florida.The service was very professional, they had a security guard onsite . The attendant tested the jewelry she explained to me what she was doing and then showed me a chart they had printed that day from the web saying the value of gold at that moment, then she told me what they would be giving me for the jewelry and asked if I wanted to do the transaction. I actually lost the first check they sent and I called them - a real person answered the phone. They put a stop on the first check and mailed a second check out right away.
