Bought unit and had it installed by a licensed a/c and electrical technicians. Unit worked for 2 days then started throwing a ch21 code. Had them come out and diagnose and the outdoor board went bad and wouldn't turn on fan. This company wants you to pay a technician hours to sit on hold with tech support to run through diagnostics they have already done. They will not help what so ever. Do not buy from this company. Zero star would be better. AC Wholesales stole our money and time. If you order from this company (we highly recommend not) be sure and get the correct item. I accidentally ordered a natural gas heater (Rinnai) instead of a propane heater. My mistake! So we paid the $224 to ship back on our own dime. But then.....no refund. I ordered a split unit and upon confirmation was told it would arrive in 7-10 days. The outside piece arrived on time and I was unexpectedly charged only for the outside unit (the representative told me they debit the money when each piece is shipped, not when the order is placed). On 11/07/2019 I had installed a brand new 3 1/2 ton Payne AC Condenser made by Carrier installed by a professional AC Service company. On 08/04/2020 the compressor went out. This is the ABSOLUTE worst company to do business with. Our AC is NOT working so excuse me if I seem grumpy. We ordered a new AC condenser and new coils on April 26. (Yup, I know that's Friday and apparently not counted as a business day). This company advertises in stock products they don´t have. They dismissed my complaints. I cancelled the order but they still charged my credit card. Ordered an A/C condenser, evaporator core, new lines and condenser base on 5/29/18. All items showed to be in stock and would ship within 24 - 48 hours. I have been waiting a month to get my order. No follow up to tell me what they have available to ship. I call them to find out. We split the order so they can ship what they have in stock. You think United Airlines has problems? The service reps at AC Wholesale (Louis all the way up to the top brass) will completely stonewall you and do not care about customer service or follow-up care. This is the biggest joke of a company. they have no customer service nor do they care. I placed an order for a large project on 6/18/15. I called on 7/7/15 to find out why we still do not have it. I make many online purchases each year. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. This is a dishonest business. We purchased a Grunaire unit and a common part failed. AC Wholesales are the exclusive dealer of Grunaire and now state that parts are not available, so the unit is trash. I purchased an LG Ductless Air / Heat system from them. I was nervous because the reviews were mixed. I paid and the product showed up as expected in a timely fashion.
