I had no idea about movers like First Van Lines until it was recommended to us by a distant relative of ours .I called them and they agreed on the day of my convenience. On the moving day they made a bright attempt and I was completely moved from my one bedroom and the move came under 3 hours!!! All for $250. Money well spent! Top notch service was provided to us from the crew of First Van lines and they packed us up and moved us into their storage. And, when I realized that I let them pack some very important documents .Right from initial phone conversation from their customer service department , things went on very well. I was moving and knew I wanted professional movers to move our furniture (didn't want any of our friends breaking their backs trying to help us) so I turned to some colleagues who had recently moved. It's now been a week since my move and I recommend First Van Lines, actually this company was referred to us by a close relative and I am sharing my review with all those looking forward to move . Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome!!!! The best company I have ever found and used! They showed up exactly on time, had me moved in three hours (including the one hour commute), and even made me laugh during the process! One guy was admitted he was really hungover, but was running around with three or four boxes at all times. There is no way I could ever do that! They even came in $100 under the quoted price! I've moved across within Florida on two occasions in these past 2 years and without question, Iif I have to seek any advice I just consult my cousin who has been living there for the past 25 years and he unhesitantly recommended me First van Lines and I only believed them after I got a chance to try them . These guys are great - I recommend them to anyone needing to move. Joseph and his team moved our rather full 2 br apartment worth of stuff - including grand piano- from Hollywood to the Hallandale. They showed up on time, worked hard, and knew what they were doing. Two other movers were on the same block and I would see their guys standing around or moving slow. Very helpful. Cheap. Extremely accommodating and GREAT SERVICE!!! The moves are slightly slower than paying by the hour, but flat rate definitely makes up for everything else. Will definitely use again next time i move. Read More »

My neighbors recommended First Van Lines to me. They have actually come there by hiring these guys, so I called them up for the estimate. Joseph came and gave the estimate which was well within my budget, so I fixed him up. Joseph and his fellow movers showed up half a hour late but did a marvelous job! These guys are incredible. They were on time, they were careful, efficient and didn't try to charge anything extra .Most people don't even consider that but it is my understanding that everytime you hire someone to do something for you you can be liable for their injuries if they are not fully insured but It is not the case with First Van Lines. Joseph and his guys were fantastic. Thanks so much for making our move so easy & comfortable for us. There's nothing more you could ask for: Very easy & prompt communication, punctual and pretty fast, and they actually wrapped every single piece of furniture in plastic thus making sure that really nothing gets damaged. This is the 2nd time we have used these guys to move us. They are as good as it gets. Sandy, Ricky and Kevin arrived at 8am as they said they would. They entered our 3rd floor apt that didnt have an elevator and emptied it in less that 2 hours. This even as Kevin got his arm ripped up by our cat as they tried to corral it only to mention Kevin is allergic to cats. These guys go the extra mile and they were done in 4 hours, start to finish. I needed to book a moving company 3 days before my move - very last minute! i literally wrote down every phone number of any moving company and First Van Lines were one of two companies that actually called me back and had availability last minute. I went with these guys since they were cheaper than the competition. First Van Lines did a great job! I just want to thank Yafit for being so up front with me, so honest and giving me the confidence that I needed to use First Van Lines for my move from Illinois to Florida.
