What a life-saver! We just bought a recently remodeled house with lots of plumbing and HVAC problems. So our realtor recommended Bayside, who sent Chad out same day. Chad was fantastic! Found and fixed two gas leaks (the installer had used the wrong-sized fittings ... doh!), replaced wrong-sized duct work, and emptied out one duct that was blocked and filled with a bucket-full of construction debris (gee, i wonder if that's a fire hazard?!). This company is a SCAM ARTIST! They called my elderly mother (86 years old), repeatedly until she told them it was ok for them to do a $39.99 A/C & Heat check up! Then conned her into a $1,589.99 3 year service agreement along with telling her she had mold in her attic and A/C system. Also put a SURGE SUPPRESSOR in her outdoor A/C unit but did not bother to clean the same unit or remove vines, etc. That were inside. STAY AWAY !! I unfortunately did NOT Google Bayside before setting them up to do HVAC work. 1. I signed a work order $1500 to run a new lineset. 2. CANCELLED the work literally that night / next day 3. They charged the credit card anyway - I have put into dispute 4. they have a little CATCH you need to look out for - first of all they want you to pay UP FRONT so that if you change your mind they charge you 25% restock fee - and in writing it says on PARTS...... 5. they are actually atte... This company is only out to get your money. They send a "tech" out to do a 21 point "tune-up" to your a/c system and only perform about 3 or 4 of the services they say they are providing. Then they try to sell you a "cleaning" or several other services that are not needed. My brother-in-law happened to be visiting from out of town while they were here and said that I was being ripped off for the "tune-up" and for the add-ons they were trying to sell me. This company is a complete scam. The send one of their "techs" out to your home just to try & discover a problem that doesn't really exist. Their tech told me that my A/C's A-Coil needed to be "Pulled & Cleaned" for the price of $635. Little did he know that the coil had just been replaced 2 months before. IT WAS STILL BRAND NEW!
