I was phone canvassed and told that they could modify my Mortgage even though I told them that I had already contacted my lender and was told by them that I didn't qualify. The representative said that the Lender was just putting me off and that I did qualify and they would represent me in the loan modification process. I've been watching this forum area, for 6 months ya I was scared, but I needed Help, I THOUGHT Nationwide was my way, I was sooooo wrong! They transfer you once a month to a different areas, then my last month (the negotiator) they contact the lender( mine is HFC ) trying to get them to do a Hardship... For 6 months lol. After working with Nationwide, I learned that you have to take risks. You can't listen to what everyone says about them because it isn't true. People may think that their a scam but 6 months ago I was in the drain and about to lose my house until I became a part of Nationwide. They helped me with everything and anything. Alot of people mistake nationwide financial solutions with other companies that do scam you. Nationwide financial solutions has helped not only save my home from foreclosure. I was struggling to make the payments and they helped me with a lower interest rate, monthly payment, and I didn't have to pay any late fees. Read More »

Here is what I found out about Nationwide - I also believe but am not sure that they were affiliated with First Universal Lending (they may have been selling the First Universal Product for a while) and were just raided by the FTC in November 2009. If you deciding on using this I strongly suggest it. They provided me with a loan modification that made my mortgage payments affordable and also brought me current. My main concern was to keep my home, and that's what I got to do. Read More »

I am very pleased with this company. They have been nothing but helpful and always there when I had questions. I would refer them to anyone that was interested in doing a loan modification. I have never had such a quick response like I do with them. My own lender doesn't respond to me as quickly as they do. I haven't had better service until I found Nationwide Financial Solutions. I would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Nationwide. I hired Nationwide back in April 2008 to help us with our home. They were tremendous help through this process. There was many times i felt helpless and frustrated dealing with my bank. I would call Nationwide and they would explain the process(which they were right every time) and assured me that everything would be ok. I have had nothing but exceptionally great service from Nationwide Financial Solutions. Its a shame that people are on here and are bashing the company and they have done everything possible to make this process as smooth as possible. I was informed throughout the whole process what was going on and am now living in my home with a 45% decrease in my monthly payment as well as i went from 6 months behind to being current. I do not recommend doing business with this company. After paying them $799.90, they did absolutely nothing for me and I ended up in foreclosure. After speaking with a government-run mortgage assistance officer, I was told that the services that Nationwide offer (which they never performed) should be done for free and there should never be a charge for these services. They pitch a good sale and promise to be able to help. But when the program doesn't work and you haven't been paying your mortgage for 5 months because Nationwide told you not to. I recommend nationwide financial solutions to anyone that is behind on their mortgage like I was about a year ago. I had an very high payment that I could afford because of the my hours at work got cut in half! So now I have a new mortgage payment and a new interest rate!!! My review on this company is WOW!! This is really not a miracle but a blessing! I went from paying a monthly payment that I couldn't afford because of my knee surgery last December, To a much lower payment that I could afford for me and my wife. I even got my mom into this program with Nationwide Financial Solutions so she could be at a lower interest rate and current with her payments.
