Took my money and never sent the product. After not shipping out in a week I contacted them through their web site and they said there would be a 1-3 week delay because of damage to their warehouse from the recent tornadoes. This seems to be their MO. Complaints on the BBB say fire was used as an excuse. They have an F rating with the BBB. I ordered a central vacuum attachment kit from them and they charged my American Express card immediately. They offer shipping within 24-48 hours of order, unless backordered, in which case they will contact you. After several days of no email telling me my order was shipped, I called them. No answer. I ordered a vacuum hose kit on Dec 14 2011 for a xmas gift. I called a week after xmas to find out why i havent received it yet' I was told it was backordered and should be getting it in a week or two. well here it is jan 28 and no hose yet and when you call them the recording always tells you they are busy helping customers and they never call back. BEWARE! My experience has been very similar to the one Diane S. has had. Transaction starts out fine then deteriorates. They rarely reply to phone calls and/or emails. Once they get their merchandise returned they will not post a refund to your credit card. I am still waiting on a refund that was verbally promised by Michael March, President not some underling. So far my customer service experience with vacuum planet is very bad. It started out good. I received my powerbrush in a timely manner. The problem came when I tried to return it. They were reluctant to give me a return # and the address to return the product. They did try to fix my problem, but I just needed to return it. I shipped it to them Jan 28, 2011. Had a great experience ordering online from CentralVacuumPlanet.com. I was not so sure what type of hose I needed and after about 3 phone calls and countless questions, we selected the right one.
