Went under contract with this company l. They offered me a low price but it was ok because I just wanted to sell quickly and it was easy to sell to them . Called and spoke to Robert Seidler. I spent 2 months with a realtor before calling Meridian. He was very upfront and made sure we closed fast so I didn’t lose my house at auction. After the probate on my uncles house was done I got a ton of letters and went with a company that I wont say. They dragged it on for 4 weeks with excuses and then tried to blame me when it didn’t close. I called meridian trust and they offered me fair money and the house was gone in 2 weeks. I read these reviews and almost didn't call but I don't think these reviews understand how companies like this work. They buy problem houses you can't sell easily so they don't pay top money to people but they took my house with an eviction too. I called them after receiving a letter and they told me they would give me $78,000 for a townhouse that I owned. The town house appraised at $83,000. The tenants left it a mess. This company will promise you the moon and deliver much less. They made several offers on a property that I own, before I agreed to a price and signed a contract. According to the contract, they have 15 days to inspect the property.
