I had struggled with a four year long addiction to xanax and suboxone everyday was a fight. I had tried other methods of quitting and nothing seemed to work. I finally found a program that would get me off drugs with out giving me more drugs. The atomasphere was positive and the staff was extremely understanding and helpful. 12 years ago I graduated this program and cannot say enough about how my life has been since. One of the first things I learned was how to control communication. I can't believe that I have actually achieved over 4 years of clean and sober time. I have gone to other treatment centers before and they did a good job. However, I would relapse again and again. I got the opportunity to go to Narconon Vista Bay and it has completely changed my life. I just finished spending time with my family for Thanksgiving and it couldn't have been more meaningful. I proudly live a drug free and happy life thanks to this place. I know that this was the only kind of rehab that would have worked for me. I have tried others in the past, however they were ineffective for me or I was not believing enough in them. Either way, I was a hopeless mess. I participated in the rehab at Narconon of Vista Bay about 7 years ago. This place had a profound effect on my life in a very positive way. I found the counselors there to be extremely caring and helpful. A strong difference of this place compared to others I know of or personally tried, is that they guide you down a path of self observation and self learning. I thought my time at Narconon Vista Bay was amazing. I definitely had my ups and downs, but it showed me who I was and what I was striving to be. Before I came to Narconon I was engulfed in the Meth lifestyle and I only cared about myself and how I was going to get high. I could of cared less about my family, friends, and my job. We sent my sister here about 4 years ago. Before we sent her we looked researched many different places. We wanted to try something different this time because a 12 Step hasn't worked in the past. I went through VistaBay 3+ years ago and am still loving life. I went through multiple programs with no success, I was in my addiction for 8 years and 28 day programs weren't going to cut it no matter how much we spent or how many times I tried it. I was finally given the time and opportunity to truly address ALL of the issues associated with my addiction. Narconon Vista Bay saved my wife's life. Four years ago my wife went through their entire program and is still clean. She went to three 28 day programs and I was about to give up on her, but her brothers friend had success with them so I decided to try one more time. I came to Narconon Vista Bay with the help of my parents and girlfriend. Once they found out of my addiction to opiates they found a rehabilitation program they thought would best suit me. I sent my son there 3 years ago. He drank heavily and took painkillers. I finally found the right time to help him and searched for places through our County. I was told Narconon Vista Bay was the best in the County and possibly in the State. Upon walking up their stairs I noticed the facility was clean and there plenty of counselors and staff walking around. I had a family member go there 7 years ago and he is still sober!!!!! What a great facility. Their staff were super nice, attentive and very supportive of my aunt. My cousin was for sure into heavy drugs and I never thoguht he would be sober. If it wasn't for this place he would not be alive. These guys are pillars of the community in the area. I know many people who went through the program there. Not only do they run a great program, but they are very active in the community and volunteer with the local events. They do drug education for kids in the schools free of charge. My kids loved when Rodrigo would do their class. They are real people, professional and care about helping people. Read More »

Sent our daughter here as soon as we realized she had a problem. Searched the web endlessly for weeks while she was gone to find the right place for her. The problem I had with other places is that you paid almost as much and they were only there for 30 days! I knew something this serious was going to take longer than 30 days to recover.
