I returned it to OCZ for replacement (10/12). The cost of shipping the defective memory was on me. Received replacement memory a week and a half later and it was bad out of the box. I contacted OCZ by phone to set up another return. I asked if I now had to pay again to return the “new” defective memory and was told I would not. It's now been four months, and their rebate is nowhere to be seen. I've contacted them again, but still have received no response. They take days to respond when they do respond.

It seems that a delay this large must be intentional, and not a natural result of processing the rebate. NewEgg and OCZ are forever off my list of potential vendors.I'd rather buy locally now, even if I pay a big premium.
