We hired two guys to help us move heavy furniture and other items from our house into a storage POD in our driveway, as well as move heavy items/furniture from room to room in the house. My husband had just had a heart procedure, so heavy lifting was not an option for him. Silicon Valley Moving & Storage has moved our family 3 times in the past year (for a total of 5 days of moving). Totally reliable, very courteous, always on-time and always hard-working. Headed by Cheri & Joe, they do a fabulous job of putting together the best team for your move (not only did SVM&S do our moves, but they also did the packing of our items too). Moving is always a pain, but these guys mad it manageable. They're nice people, efficient, careful, and honest. I've moved many times, and this was about the smoothest process. I used them a few weekends ago for my move and found them to be very professional, timely, and fast (which in the moving game when you pay by the hour is very important). I got three guys to come out and move me at a great price. They were very careful with all of my things and didn't break or scratch anything. If you care about your belongings and are looking for a moving company with personal service, this is the moving company for you. They are very service-oriented and take great care to make sure nothing is damaged in the moving process - not a mark on the wall or a chip on a precious item. I was recently looking for a moving company and came across Silicon Valley Moving and Storage. From what I read, they looked like a large, well-established and reputable company. It was a local move and all my research kept coming back to them. My initial contact with them was professional and informative. A friend recommended I check Yelp. DEFINITELY HIRE SILICON VALLEY MOVING & STORAGE This company has moved my small business twice in 3 years. I can't recommend them more. Both times I've had a 3 man team and they moved us in record time. They were very professional and polite. I've moved into and out of buildings with and without elevators and all buildings had glass entry ways and doors. No damage! Read More »
