After a number of years fighting with another solar company over their installation of a solar electric system at my home I found Dollens Electric Corp. They evaluated my system, suggested remedies for my problems and gave me a price that I thought was very reasonable. The work was done about one year ago and all has been well since. During a recent power outage the system preformed as advertiszed. My venture into solar power for my home is finally a rewarding experience. Read More »

Dollens Electric was the low bid on removing my solar array and replacing when my roof was being replaced. They provided a 4 year guarantee on their work. They were able to schedule when required by the roofer. They had to figure out what the previous electrician had done. They took more off my roof than I expected they needed to. We were very impressed from our first meeting with your employee who was able to explain everything to using a competent and friendly way. I certainly appreciate the work of SunnyCal on my 5 KW grid-tied solar electric system. I think what impressed me the most was the attention and oversight that Steve provided. I guess that he spent almost 2 weeks living on site during the major installation phase. His crew was extremely professional, and the cable routing and terminations were truly the work of real craftsmen. Two Dollens Electric subsidiary Sunnycal Solar (wrote contract as Dollens Electric) representitives came to my house and looked at my solar system wiring. They looked at the job and said that it would be no problem to do it in a half day. They assured me that the boss, Steve Dollens, would come out and inspect the work. I had the technician work a half day with the carpenters help and he installed my AC panel, pulled wires through the conduit and wired my charge controller and inverter. ... Read More »
