I am wondering exactly where my anger should be funneled toward. I received some coke rewards points after buying Coke's TOO EXPENSIVE bottle pack and not cans! Thought I would redeem a few, and proceeded to do just that. However, since I don't have a cell phone, and the site mentioned NOTHING about the need for one, the wallpaper I chose as my reward was TOTALLY USELESS! A+? How can the BBB give an A+ to a company that's main source of revenue is scamming the public? Shame on the Better Business Bureau!!! I had charges on my bill which was quite a surprise to me. The gentleman I spoke with was kind enough to tell me that I actually didn't sign up for anything, and it was quite possible one of my friends or maybe someone I didn't know, may have taken an IQ test on myspace or facebook and entered my phone number to receive a result.I am getting my refund, but the fact that he said many of their affiliates do not follow their rules makes this company a joke. This is a scam company. They send spam, unsolicited text messages to phones, and if you fail to respond with the word "STOP," they will then begin charging your phone. I was charged almost $40 over several months before I noticed the small charges on my wife's phone. ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! Beware, beware, beware!!!!! My wifes phone was recently 'hacked' by this company and I had to spend the better half of a day getting it resolved. They will steal your information from other sites, send you an text message (spam type), and if you don't respond to their text, they will start charging you monthly subscription charges ($5 to $30 a month). I noticed a $10.00 charge to my phone bill on 12/01/09. To only find out that Play Phone had been charging me since June. Mysteriously, when I call, all of a sudden I was canceled out middle of November, no manager available, don't know how much my refund, can't transfer me to billing department handling matter, & found out didn't even process my refund request. I guess my daughter might have accidentally signed up for this service over her Facebook account. I called in to speak to their customer service and they were pretty knowledgeable about the situation. The representative explained what the service is all about and so since I've already paid for it, I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, they had a lot of my favorite artists. I noticed a $14.99 charge on my cell phone and inquired with my carrier as to what it was and why it was on there. Come to find out, it had BEEN charged to me for over 10 months. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter bought two pkay phone cards and on their website they state her phone IS compatible - it was NOT.
